Service is always excellent and the new location is wonderful. I’ve used all the stylists and they know me well. Certainly very personable service. Have been going to Rudy’s (formerly Kennedy’s) for several years now, after a period of having trouble finding a barbershop that could make my hair work. Rudy has been giving me great cuts ever since then, and is always very friendly. I recently had an appointment with Eli, who also did a great job. Changes in management can sometimes be tough for businesses, but I can say without a doubt that Rudy’s Grooming Club hasn’t lost any of the old quality. So, let’s set the stage. In my book, you are not a “real” barber unless you use a straight razor. After moving back to the area 11 years ago, I spent a great deal of money and time searching for a real barber. One guy even took a chunk of hair out of the back of my head, never said anything, and still charged me full price. It is very difficult to find not only a good barber, but a personable one. I like an old school barber, who not only cuts hair, but does shaves, and let’s face it….at times…is a therapist…. Rudy is that barber. He has been cutting my hair for 11 years, and my kids hair since they were 1 year old. He does it all, and does it well. Not to mention, he is a fourth generation barber in his family. That states his families commitment to professional service. Now that he is the owner, the only place Rudy’s Grooming Club can go, is UP.
