Our Mission: An upscale spa with relaxing atmosphere dedicated to your satisfaction.We strive to maintain one priority, sanitation!We use hospital Grade AUTOCLAVE sterilizer.All implements are used only once on YOU then clean and put into the medical grade autoclave sterilizer. All pedicure basins are lined with a brand new single use disposable liner. the basins are pipe-less and cleaned with detergent then sprayed with EPA approved disinfectant. We are always looking for better ways and products to keep YOU safe!

I had a great experience here! They have been very willing to do any nail art that I’ve asked of them and have been extremely nice about it. They also offer complementary drinks which is something I’ve never come across before. Lastly, I will continue going here because this is the only ever nail salon that has given me acrylics that will stay on my nails without lifting. I am often rough with my nails and I have never had a problem with their nails lifting on me even after a month.

I was really unhappy with my experience at this salon. The front desk/manager whose name is Ben is extremely rude. He does not know how to accommodate his customers whatsoever. The nail technician I had for my pedicure did not know how to file or cut nails straight. Barely removed a cuticle. Did not buff nails so nail polish was super rough, not smooth at all. I was very unhappy and asked Ben very politely if I could please have another nail technician do my manicure since I’m traveling to a destination wedding. He yelled saying No and that this technician is the best so he will do it. I said “please I don’t mind waiting”. He said no! No one else will do for you in the most impolite way. The lady sitting next to me said “he’s so rude. This is my last time here also.” There are many nail technicians in this salon and I’m sure some of them are great but they all rush. The lady sitting next to me was very unhappy with how her nails looked also. I would never come back to this salon because of the way Ben speaks to his clients. You need to learn to accommodate your customers needs or else you will end up losing a lot of clients!

this is my second time here and i am so happy with the way my nails came out both times! This time Ruby did them and she was very nice and did an amazing job. she copied the picture i showed her perfectly. They also offered me a selection of drinks and the place itself is just gorgeous! I live on the SOUTHSIDE of Chicago and often visit friends in Evanston. I decided to make an appointment here (since I was in the area and badly needed a manicure). I must say that I received the BEST pedicure and no chip manicure ever! Dave was efficient and really did a great job! I will visit this location again and again. The service, the ambiance——everything made the trip worthwhile.

I got a super basic gel full set which (including tip) was $70. Which is fine, but these nails BARELY lasted two weeks when I usually have no problems lasting 3+ at other salons. The place was average in terms of cleanliness. Probs won’t go back since these didn’t hold up well.

Rock Star is a bit overpriced but a good service is always guaranteed. I tried other 5 places around Evanston and none of them was able to make my nails as good and long lasting (I am referring to dip powder and acrylics). It is for sure not a relaxing environment since it is always busy but that means they are good at what they are doing.

Unfortunately, I have to give a poor review. I went here last week for gel nails and a very simple design. Although I did not vocalize it, I left upset because my nail tech could not do the simple design I asked for, and they advertise more complex designs on the website. Because my tech was unable to execute the design, I left with just plain gel polish. Less than 2 days later 2 of my nails had come off completely. The nails didn’t chip off, but they came off in entirety as if they were press on nails. I went back to get those 2 repaired, and even the owner asked me, “Who did this?”. Aka he knew the tech that did my nails did poor work. Less than a week later, all of the other nails, other than the 2 that were repaired, came off like they were press on nails as well! I am disappointed, as I really wanted to like this place.

Terrible experience!I called to make an appointment with an experienced technician instead they put me with new person that was just training— I explained on the phone I needed a specific design for wedding. I saw the way this technician was doing my pedicure and knew he wouldn’t do my nails well and he started saying “I can’t make it the same but I will try and if you don’t like it then we can’t go back” seriously!! So much for customers service! I asked for an experienced and they asked me to go somewhere else. If this isn’t rude and prejudice/racist I don’t know what is????????
