Critical: QualitySo as a gift to congratulate my fiance on her new job I went to the snail salon and got her a gift certificate I asked the staff how much it would cost for her to get a full set in her nails polished they tell me 30 I get the gift certificate for $40 to make sure tax tip is covered so she doesn’t have to pay anything. The first issue is I signed the receipt for my car being charged for $40 the next day when it post to my account they had added an extra $5 bringing my total to $45 which was not authorized by me. I let that girl because I love my fiance and $5 wasn’t worth causing a scene. I take her in there tonight it takes them 2 hours to do her nails she doesn’t get any fancy designs nothing special just the acrylic nails and nail polish when we go to leave they tell me it is going to be another $35 on top of what I had already paid and their sign on the wall clearly says $30 they are scam artists I would recommend steering clear and they like doing illegal things like skimming people’s cards. So as a gift to congratulate my fiance on her new job I went to the snail salon and got her a gift certificate I asked the staff how much it would cost for her to get a full set in her nails polished they tell me 30 I get the gift certificate for $40 to make sure tax tip is covered so she doesn’t have to pay anything. I moved much further away from their location but I make the drive, they are worth it! My nails always look fabulous for the best price. Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueVery unprofessional! Bad customer service. I experienced waiting here at this shop for 4 hours. And the end result was getting the shop door slammed in my face and the cops were called for no absolute reason. This could have been avoided in a better manner by communicating properly. The customer service I experienced was horrible the worst I have ever experienced in life. When I got there a client was sitting in the pedicure spa unattended for more than a hour waiting to be serviced and 3 ppl waiting . I called to schedule an appointment earlier , when I got there at my appointment time I was told to come back. When I got back within 30mins I still had to wait. I sat even longer waiting In the shop and wasn’t serviced. Once I got back someone else was taken before me and I had already scheduled. The person that was taken before me just walked in after me and I previously called to schedule an appointment. I sat in my car for hours due to so many ppl in the shop sitting around nobody following (CDC)rules due to COVID if your not being serviced to stand 6 ft apart. I felt that it was only safe to go sit in my car and wait to be serviced. I asked Kathy (the daughter) was that okay and if I can go grab a bite since I had already been waiting and 3 ppl was ahead of me apparently I was told this once i got there, Keep in mind I had an appointment. She agreed to it that yes that’s totally fine and offered to call or text me when she is ready for me to come in, Kathy always do my nails never had this issue. Kathy doesn’t know how to do a full set acrylic her mom does that job, then pass the client over. She do need to learn because all she do is designs. The mom (Robie) is the person that does the acrylic and then passes you to her daughter Kathy.I’ve experienced another time actually being serviced and another client (foreigner) didn’t like the way her nails came out and the mother (Robie) was very rude and gossips about every client that’s not satisfied. Seeing how they both deal with clients should have been opened my eyes as well. They talk about everyone! This is paying a big toll on there nail shop business and how it’s ran with their timing because Mom does acrylic and being that Kathy can’t do acrylic at all she needs to learn and give mom a break. That will hinder you when going because you will have to sit and wait for awhile. Very unnorganized y’all really need to step your nail game up if your a nail tech and can’t do acrylic that takes time and being that mom does everything that can back your client appointments up. Just knowing how to do designs and polish doesn’t make your nails it’s the foundation knowing how to lay down acrylic /shaping. I waited 4 hours when going I was standing and didn’t feel the need to say sorry or apologize about the wait. I understand this shops is ran by 2 women but if you don’t knew how to handle your volume of ppl that shouldn’t keep accepting appointments if you know you can’t handle the work. I stood outside at the door after the one girl left who they serviced first before me and Robie obnoxiously said we’re closed don’t you see the sign says 6pm. Mind you this was at 7. Nobody came to the door to acknowledge me, apologize for the wait, nothing was said they knew I was waiting in the car literally first parking spot in front of shop and Robie didn’t know what me and her daughter had arranged for me to come back. She basically locked me out in the cold 40 degrees out knowing I was still waiting to be serviced and i knocked on the door she flung her hands up and said go away closed i sat outside the door waiting because I thought we could talk about what happened (communicate) as to why she locked me out and see that I’m still here waiting.She didn’t give me a chance to say a word the cops were called I don’t even know for what reason.
