I went last weekend to get IV therapy for inflammation. I spent $190 for what I thought was a very simple treatment. Within 2 minutes of starting the treatment I started to feel nauseous and dizzy. When I told the nurse this she said she’s never heard that before but that it was probably just the bad taste from the b vitamins. A few minutes later I felt absolutely terrible. I was extremely nauseous and felt like the room was spinning. When I told her again all she did was try to up sell me an additional $20 bag of fluid instead of trying to do anything to help me. By the time I was done I had to sit there until I felt comfortable standing up because I felt so dizzy and sick. I threw up my entire drive home and continued to throw up for hours. I spent the next day researching to see if this could have been a reaction with the illness that I have but I found no evidence of that. The only information I could find said that people who have this experience are usually from very poor quality product or from toxic level doses. When I emailed the company they changed their reasons multiple times trying to come up with a reason this was my fault. They basically just made up a list of random things, none of which made sense. The person who emailed me came off rude and they offered absolutely nothing to make my experience better. It’s not even about the money but for $190 I would have expected a much higher level of professionalism. It was very obvious they are only focused on up selling you and have no actual knowledge of what they are doing. I was surprised there’s no actual doctor there or professional to do a Consultation with. There are plenty of other IV therapies so I highly advise you choose a different company.
