I have had issues with my back for a while now. The folks at Relax Spa have been helpful in reducing my pain level. They are a very professional group of therapists who will attend to you with great care. When you make your appointment, ask for Mina or Sunny. They come highly recommended. They know how to manipulate those aching muscles. It is best to call and make an appointment even though walk-ins are welcome, based on availability. Prices are posted and so you do not have to worry about being scammed. The manager will make sure you a well treated.

I’m out of shape and recently began exercising. I was sore and decided to go to Relax Spa. My masseuse was Nina. She gave me a deep tissue massage that was truly and sincerely awesome. I’m not exaggerating. Nina took her time and worked every inch of my body. She was kind and in great physical shape. She truly is a professional. I’m going back.

I had a very bad experience going there for the 1st time. It was an older lady who massaged me and I gave her $15 tip. Then I asked for her name because she was good and I wanted her to massage me the next time. This lady was so rude. She said ” don’t call me. I don’t want you to call me.” I got confused and I said” Do you know me? and why not?”. She said the I didn’t give her enough tip and she does jot massage customers who don’t tip her $20 or above. Been here a few times, tried to give it a fair chance. Good price for a full body hour priced at $60. However, could never get comfortable, the table is worn. In the couples room the tables are so worn you are literally just laying on plywood covered with vinyl. Next, there is a new hire who’s English is very limited, nothing wrong with bi-lingual. The problem is when you ask them a question or make a request, the employee, nods and reply’s, “ok, ok.” Then continues with there routine, because that’s all this is. These are not skilled massage therapists. The last and final visit ever spending my money here was a tragedy at its finest. I made a very specific request of back shoulders and neck only. I confirmed 3 times before even stepping into the room. As the massage began the employee must not have ended her previous conversation on her phone through voice activated chat, so the first 10 minutes was aimless poking and grinding which fell mostly directly on my spine. So I sat up and stopped the transaction looked her in the eyes and directly at the phone, thankfully she immediately understood, and holstered the phone. The massage continued and the employee started at the legs, so I reminded her back shoulders and neck, ok? To which she replied, “ok, ok.” Great, but not. A couple of pinches on the neck and back to her routine, and left for 5 minutes to get the hot stones, I did not request stones, just back shoulders and neck. Employee: ok,ok. Couple more pinches of the neck. At this point I’m trying my best to breath relax and enjoy the experience when she grabs for the stones again, mind you not 5-10 minutes later. So I stopped the massage with direct eye contact touching my neck, my shoulders, and back and motioned safe like a baseball umpire. Again she acknowledged with’ “ok, ok.” The last 15 minute I knew to get my neck the way that was required I would need to be on my back, this is where it just went totally downhill. She grinding my neck with no lotion or oil using her nails as if she was lathering my hair. Then abruptly ended the massage early 5 minutes and walked out. Sigh, I was so frustrated I couldn’t even look at the cashier in the eyes as I ex0plained the proceedings in my dismay. Thankfully offered a $5 discount for both my wife and I. Truly, not needed because services were rendered but in the most dissatisfying way possible. So to end, if you want a cookie cutter massage with no direction or specificity, while lying in discomfort, this is your spot. If you actually are going to relieve a specific ailment, look else where.

I went in with pain in my shoulder and I left with the same pain. I’m so disappointed that I want to cry. That’s 90 minutes that I could’ve spent with my heating pad on my shoulder. That’s what I’m going to have to do now because I still can’t turn my head. It’s Russian roulette with this place. You may or may not get a good massage and today was not good. I’m sad… and in pain still.

The therapists are really good here but it’s cold. The last therapist I saw asked for a tip like she expected it which was annoying. I go here when I’m in pain. Please stop asking for tips, stop charging $2.50 extra for debit card use. Other than that it’s clean and good service here.
