If you are looking for a knowledgeable business coach/friend, look no further!! I have been in the hair industry for 3 years and the amount of help and confidence I have gained from working with Rachel, is so crazy. You guys, she knows what she is doing! She makes me SO excited to be bettering myself and my business. No question seems “stupid” when asking her, and she is always so honest with her advice, which is so helpful when you have been staring at the same screen for hours on end. I went from having very shoulder-length healthy hair, to wanting long hair. I went to a stylist I was recommended to for tape-in hair extensions. After 1.5 years of seeing said stylist, she NEVER told me how much she was actually damaging my hair. One day I realized my hair literally breaking at the touch and new it was time for change. I spoke with my coworkers and they told me all about Rachel. I went in for my consult immediately and my life changed that day for the better. She was honest, blunt, and told me that my hair will need work, dedication, time, but to trust her. I’m so glad I have. It’s been about 9 or so months (I think) now since being with her, and I find a new growth of hair every single day. My hair is still brittle, but is SO much better now, it’s an understatement. I have 3 tracks of braid-in extensions and they honestly do a world of difference. I’ve recommended now 3 friends to her and I know one has for sure made at appointment. I need to take a minute or 15 to explain the talent behind this girl. I went from having very shoulder-length healthy hair, to wanting long hair. I went to a stylist I was recommended to for tape-in hair extensions. After 1.5 years of seeing said stylist, she NEVER told me how much she was actually damaging my hair. She let me know right off the bat that it would be work and was very transparent about what it would take (# of visits, cost, maintenance), especially if I wanted to keep my hair healthy through the journey. We started with a FULL COLOR CORRECTION. During that appointment she explained exactly how the chemistry of the process worked and I left feeling really educated about the structure of hair, how lightening works, and the importance of maintaining my results with professional products at home. Although Rachel is uber serious, and a total straight-shooter when it comes to your hair, she is super comfortable and easy to be around and makes appointments enjoyable and relaxing. I love that I have finally found a stylist who is a true “hair scientist nerd,” gets exactly what I’m going for, and always prioritizes my hair’s overall health. She is constantly attending continuing education classes and is truly at the top of her craft when it comes to amazing color, especially blondes.
