Critical: QualityI use to go to this salon before it became Libby’s. Originally it was named Sonia’s. When I arrived I greeted Sonia and asked if she could cut my hair into a style. I asked her because throughout my whole childhood she always took great care of both my mom and my grandmother’s hair, when we were all permed. We moved away from the Bronx so naturally when I come home and visit, I would want to go to who I know and trust. However, I was passed along to Libby, the owner of the salon, I showed her the style I wanted and trusted that she would handle my style correctly. My hair is in a natural state, no perm or chemical enhancements and very manageable. However Libby decided to cut my hair while it was wet, that was her first mistake. Her second mistake was unevenly cutting my hair. Also she didn’t even comb through my hair completely. I cut my hair into a bob prior to wanting it cut into a pixie style. Libby combed up until the comb stopped and wherever it stopped she cut. Resulting in my hair looking NOTHING like the picture I showed her. One side of my head is a blunt cut while the other is more layered. I do not recommend Libby for styling. I use to go to this salon before it became Libby’s. Originally it was named Sonia’s. When I arrived I greeted Sonia and asked if she could cut my hair into a style. I asked her because throughout my whole childhood she always took great care of both my mom and my grandmother’s hair, when we were all permed.
