Some of the worse individuals I have ever encountered in the tattoo business. The so called owner and her croney are some of the most self centered people I have encountered in a long time. Tattoo shops are a dime a dozen and I would highly recommend no one ever steps into this shops ever. They claim to be military/ veteran friendly but that is not the case. The name of the shop is very disrespectful especially to those who have received the medal that decides to get a tattoo there. 5 stars in the negative is what they disserve

The tattoo artist was very nice and even got me in they were closing within an hour. Got it done and said to come back when it’s healed and do a touch up on the color because her stencil did not want to come off lol. It was super clean as well!

My husband and I have been going to purple heart for a few years now and always leave very happy! The atmosphere is professional and welcoming. The shop is thoroughly clean and well kept. It’s one of the nicest places to go in jacksonville In my opinion. Not only do they do exquisite work but they are extremely friendly. I recommend them to everyone that I can. All of the artists are very talented and easy to get along with.

Rochelle did my first ever tattoo and the experience was wonderful! A very clean shop with such friendly staff! From the moment I walked in I felt welcome and at ease. Chelsea is like family , my nephew worked for her in 2012 and 2013 she treated him like a brother. He was killed tragically in 2013 and she did a fund raiser in his honor. I got my first tattoo them it was insignia , I was terrified and had high anxiety but she made me feel right at ease and it was over before I knew it. She is a true professional, clean and sterile. I adore her and her precious family. Kat Von Dee don’t hold a candle to Chelsea !!! I am ready for her to do my mermaid tail!! Love you Chelsea!!!

I recently got tattooed by Rochelle, and I was more than satisfied how the tattoo came out. She gave me a brown bear with California poppies with color. The entire staff as soon as you walk in are absolutely professional and courteous. It doesn’t matter if its your first tattoo or your 100th tattoo, the staff is absolutely professional. They engage in conversation with you the entire session and really know how to ‘break the ice’. I will coming again real soon.

I had my first tattoo in Texas my daughter had me get one for my birthday and when I came back to Jacksonville I look around for a tattoo place and when I walk into the Purple Heart I have not gone no where else. ROCHELLE did my first one of a Frog and it was awesome so now I have all together 7 tattoos. I am going again real soon. I love everyone there and they are so nice

I went in on a Saturday just asking for a quote about a tattoo i wanted and a tattoo cover up for the nightmare i had on my arm. Low and behold the guy was like, “here’s a couple of my suggestions to make it awesome, lets start now if your ready”. This was maybe 20 min after they opened. We started bout hr half after i came in as i walk in and he spent bout 5 hrs on me and even took away time for breaks so he charged me for four hrs. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for new tats or cover ups.

I had an appointment scheduled wth Kassie, who did my first septum piercing at a different tattoo shop in April. At the time of my initial piericing, she ended up piericing me same spot 3 times: the first time she went through and had to redo it because something dropeed, the second piercing was incredibly crooked and we had to go back in, waited for the numbing cream to kick in and redid it. It still wasn’t entirely straight but it was better than the first crooked one. I was there for several hours. She had trouble screwing the ball in and it dropped several times. Eventually, it was screwed in and she gave me a free piercing due to how many times I was pierced and not 100% satisfaction.
