CURLY GIRLS: Darlene at Pure Bliss is amazing! This was my first professional curly cut. I was very nervous since I’ve never had this done before. My friend recommended Darlene who is the highest level Deva Curl stylist in Delaware. Darlene immediately addressed my concerns. She asked about me and my routine. She told me exactly what she was going to do and showed me before starting. I felt very comfortable. After cutting half of my hair, she turned me to show me the difference in my new cut and old cut. What a difference! When she washed my hair she showed me each product she used and explained it’s benefit. I am going to give Deva curl products a change again because of her. My hair felt so clean and hydrated at the same time. She really took her time with each curl. Checked EVERY angle to make sure each individual curl was in place. I have never had so much attention and detail to my curls. When it was done and I saw my new cut I almost cried. Darlene truly has a special talent. If you are having any anxiety about your curls or want to go natural. Darlene is your person! She has lots of knowledge about curls and is very kind. No judgement! She truly wants to help people learn about their curls. Definitely will be going back. I’m so happy I found my permanent hair stylists.

Melanie, the owner is highly accommodating and professional. Her staff receives the latest about styles and techniques. Very fine salon!

Recently visited Pure Bliss Salon to get a Deva Cut by Darlene. It was absolutely an exceptional experience for my first time there. The staff was lovely. Darlene’s expertise with cutting curly hair put me at ease and showed in her work! I love my new hair cut and obsessed with the bangs. She gave my blah hair new life! First time at Pure Bliss. Great experience. Cindy at the front desk was incredibly welcoming and friendly. Sean worked wonders with my hair. He spent time listening to me about my color choices/issues and made a solid recommendation on the color. Also, I have *really* sensitive skin and the Aveda products caused zero problem with my scalp and forehead at the hairline.

I came in today for the first time to see Tia after having my hair color messed up at a different salon and wow what a great experience. Tia spent a lot of time with me talking through how we would fix the color and what I was looking for and I left the salon without any trace of the bad dye job!
