Our family’s favorite! We are so fortunate to have Chris and team in Stillwater. All three of our sons and now my husband love “hair cut day” (in fairness, the shop dogs might be a big part of that draw for my 10 year old. ;)) But we love the atmosphere, always feel welcomed by Chris and Blades, and the cuts are always spot-on for each person’s preferences. While I’ve never received a cut here personally, I cannot recommend Prohibition Barbers enough. The individuals inside these walls are incredible. Chris & Co not only make sure you have an amazing experience, they also care a great deal about the community. Yes, you can go here and get a great cut (I love the cut Chris gives my boyfriend), but you can also get so much more. I would implore you to step inside these walls to see just how incredible it is. Better yet, stop by on one of their community event days and see just how many smiling faces there are. Chris, Blades, Sam, Dillon (and even the dogs) y’all are putting the rest of us to shame!

Chris is an amazing barber. I won’t trust anyone else to groom my husbands beard. He puts so much into making his shop feel like home to all his clients and making sure everyone who comes, client or not, feels welcomed. Well worth every penny and the drive from Shakopee. I’ve been looking for a good beard barber for awhile. There were lots of facebook recommendations for Prohibition. I’m glad I went. Chris is a really fantastic barber and he was able to get me the beard shape and haircut that I actually was going after. The atmosphere is defiantly that of a traditional barbershop with lots of banter. I enjoyed it immensely.

The only barbershop I will go to. Chris and Al are not only the best barbers around, but they are also extraordinarily charitable. These guys give an outrageous amount back to the local community as well as the veteran community. Going to the shop is something I look forward to every month. The music, the conversation, the dogs, they charge too little for the environment and service they offer.

Prohibition has been my go to barbershop since Chris was In Minneapolis. I moved away from Minnesota in 2018, but everytime I go back, I make it a point to get a hair cut at Prohibition. Great barbers, great shop, and fair prices. As a bonus, the shop does great things for the local community and veterans. I cannot say enough good things about Prohibition.

Such an amazing place to go! Atmosphere was astounding. Both barbers were friendly and the conversation made the hour go by way too fast. The shave and trim were the best I’ve ever had. Is 6 stars an option?
