I actually came to be a client of Profiles by sheer luck. Having just been diagnosed with breast cancer, I knew I would be losing my hair to chemotherapy treatments. I thought of wearing a cold cap to help prevent hair loss but knew that would be quite difficult. I thought maybe I need to go to a professional who deals with hair loss. I’m from Cortland but managed to find Kristin’s. As luck would have it, Kristin was free and took the time to talk with me. She put my fears and worry at ease that day! The staff has been fabulous, so professional, knowledgeable, and caring. I had treatment throughout chemo and bought a beautiful wig. It is now four years later, and I’m still driving up here every five weeks. The staff really do care about their clients! The products they use are top quality. My mother also began losing some hair and she has had treatment and also is very satisfied. To say that this was Devine intervention for me is an understatement. Thank you all of Kristin’s staff. We love you!

I have been going to Profiles by Kristin for approximately seven years. I needed to find a stylist that knew how to work with my thinning, fine hair. I have been very happy with Tracy since my first appointment seven years ago and everyone there is just awesome. Always friendly and caring. Recently, I decided that it was time to do something about my thinning hair. I met with Nikki and we went over the options and their associated costs. Several years ago I was horrified when I began to lose my hair! You could see my scalp in photos! I found Profiles online and called for a consultation. I met Susan Ford and she put me at ease and both her and Kristin designed a program that was affordable and that worked! My hair started to come back and I still go there to have my hair cut because Sue knows how to cut thinning hair to make it look fuller. I can honestly say the girls there are like family! I can’t imagine going anywhere else to have my hair done. I’m also proud of the work they do for people who have lost their hair due to illness. They will work with those people to help them feel better about themselves during difficult times. A truly amazing place!

I am very shocked and saddened by the 1 star reviews from individuals. I would have to believe that these individuals had absolutely no contact with this establishment to write such negative reviews. I have been going to Profiles by Kristen for a couple years now and they have really helped me to gain my self esteem and confidence. Having thyroid cancer and having constant changes to my medication I started experiencing hair loss of which I was totally embarrassed about. I contacted Profiles by Kristen for my initial and confidential consultation. They made me feel so comfortable. The whole staff does whatever it takes for you to be comfortable as well as works with you to give you the service that someone who is going through health issues deserve.
