Amanda did my hair and she went above and beyond my expectations! A year back or so I went to a fancy salon in downtown Des Moines and showed them a picture and gave a description of what I wanted. Long story short, I was there for about 6 hours of my day and spent almost $300 on something that didn’t even turn out the way it should have. I went to planet hair salon yesterday and gave the same description and I was in and out in 2 hours and paid half the price for something that turned out EXACTLY what I wanted. I will now be going here from now on. I am very very pleased!

Never go to this salon. She RUINED my best friends hair by leaving bleach on too long. She has chunks of hair burned off and large pieces still falling out. She left huge brassy streaks all throughout her hair and still thought it looked good. Then charged my friend $350. Complete rip off she deserves a refund

Really enjoyed the time here. Had done a bit of mess diy haircut and was thankful that they were able to get it fixed. They really went above and beyond with it. Great customer service! Would definitely recommend it 🙂

In regards to the previous review of Planet Hair, As the owner I would like to say, that under no circumstances would we have allowed a client to walk out the door in that condition. We have not received any complaints regarding this situation nor does anyone here charge those prices. Had we known of this we would have done everything possible to remedy the situation. The staff at Planet Hair Salon has several years of experience and we pride ourselves in giving our clients exceptional service and a great salon experience.
