I’ve waited a year to make this review. I spent $7,000 on my hair transplant and I have not seen any results. Most of the hair fell off in the year I’ve waited and when I asked them questions and that I wasn’t happy they just simply said, “hair has growth cycles and you have to wait for the cycles to see the hair grow”. Very unhappy, disappointed, went through surgery for 8 hours and spent $7k for nothing. The doctor didn’t event figure out why I lost hair in the first place. Usually places find the source of loss and do tests. Nothing was done. Go somewhere else.

Dr. Pizarro did a great job. I’ve seen a couple of complaints on here about her not asking the right questions, but as a patient for plastic surgery (IE completely voluntary surgery) YOU need to do your homework. Call around and visit clinics, YOU need to know everything that’s going to happen ahead of time. I called several places and had several consults. Dr. Pizarro was the Doctor I liked best, I liked that she was a women and that she helped pioneer this field, which says a lot. The only reason why I didn’t give 5 stars is because The pain during the procedure was a little much, my scalp was not very responsive to numbing. I had my procedure in December of 2017 and have had hair growing in the grafted areas ever since. No problems and even my husband, who is a doctor, can barely see the scar at the back of my scalp. I was 28 and had a DEEP hair line with a random spot(hole) in the front hair line about the size of a thumb that I hated. Now my hair line is straight and I have a lot more hairs by my temples that aren’t just super soft little blonde hairs that break off and don’t grow.

VERY VERY unprofessional service. I don’t even know how they’re still in business. At first, I was very excited to work with the staff. Dr. Pizzaro’s daughter was who I was working with and their newest employee from Brazil, who was extremely nice and knowledgeable. I was going there for about two months for my scalp. After the first few follow ups, I realized the office setting was unorganized and lacking a professional setting. I still gave them a chance. It wasn’t until I started a new job that I realized this wasn’t the place for me. I told her I could only come at specific times. On the day of my appointment, I walked in and her COUSIN was sitting at the front desk. There was no one else there. She wasn’t even an EMPLOYEE! She also was unable to speak any English. I got very upset and walked out. I never received a phone call or an email. NOTHING. I’ve spent $600 on their newest hair care line that honestly didn’t work. DON”T waste your money coming here!! If I could give no starts I would!

I went into the procedure not knowing what to expect. Dr.Pizarro and her staff walked me through every stage of the procedure and all the after care. It has been 2 years since my procedure and I am delighted with the results. My hairline is thick and straight and there is no longer a bald spot on the top of my head. I never regret doing this and would recommend Dr. Pizarro to anybody considering a hair transplant. I feel so much better about myself.
