I had my acrylics done yesterday for the first time for prom. My nail tech was Jennie and I have to say she did an amazing job. I was in and out in 50 minutes, she was so quick and efficient. Super understanding and made sure she understood what design I wanted. I will definitely be going back. And as of today there is no chips and I have no complaints.

This used to be my go to place, as it was opened by the same owners of Love Nails in Waukesha, who used to have a great reputation for long-lasting nails and experienced technicians. For a while, Pewaukee Nails fit the same standard! However, over the past year, it has gone down hill. Although the salon is nicer on the inside than most nail salons, they are always “booked” and understaffed. Additionally, my dip powder used to last 2-3 weeks, and now I am lucky to have them last even two. I don’t know if this is because the techs are rushing, or the supplies they are using are lesser or quality or what. If in a pinch, best going somewhere else as they are “already full” for week of bookings.

I had been searching for a place close to home, and so I tried Pewaukee nails! Rin is great – fast and good! I’m a hairstylist so have I have a hard time finding a place that does durable nails without being clunky and thick, as well as not staining! Highly recommend him for dip manicure!

Yesterday my girlfriend treated herself to get her nails done. When she went there she got a guy named Andy to do her nails. He was very unsanitary there. He cut her cuticle cause he was going so quick. He didn’t stop to sanitize her finger where he cut her. He just kept going and doing his job. Then eventually he just patted the blood off her finger. He didn’t listen to a word she said to him. First brought the wrong color over and then rushed it so bad tht her nails are not the same. One hand the nails are thick and the other ones are ok. Then when it came to pay. My girlfriend said tht there was a sign tht said acrylic nail set is $40 but Andy charged her $50 for a rushed appointment. I do not recommend going there if u want a rushed appointment with him. She did tell me there was not anyone waiting to get there nails done. Why did he have to rush.

If you enjoy not being able to communicate with staff and not getting your money worth this place is for you. Pedicures are less than enjoyable and feel rushed unless you pay $50! I messed up my paint on accident and they didnt even want to correct it for me. They didnt do the design my daughter wanted and couldnt understand what we were asking. Go anywhere else.
