LOVE LOVE LOVE. I have been all over camden trying to find a good place to get my nails done, and I have found the perfect spot! Not only did they treat me they did a jam up job. They did remodeled the whole store and it is very relaxing and open feeling. If you are looking for a great place look no further.

I went here to get my thumb nail taken off. Only cost a dollar a nail unlike other places around town charging two or three dollars. It was a in and out process and the guy that did took my nail off was very gentle. It was my first time being a customer there and I was happy when I left out. Never got my nails done there but I’m more than likely to try them out.

I’ve been coming here for a while because it was convenient and my nails were decent, but lately they’ve been terrible, I’ve been cut severely several times with dirty tools and they wouldn’t disinfect it or offer a discount. My acrylics literally start to fall off a week after I get them done and are constantly misshapen and bubbly. Complete waste of time and money.

I figured I would give this place a try since it is close to my house. I walked in pretty early and was the only person there for a good few minutes. Sat down to get my manicure and the lady would even look at me or talk to me. She just kept looking up and looking at the man working there. She wouldn’t even give me instructions on what she wanted me to do would just motion towards something. She finished super quick like not a hand massage or anything with my mani, my mani litterbugs only took 15 min. Then once I got outside in the sun,it was pretty dim in the place,I notice my gel polish was all jacked up. She made all of my cuticles bleed and the polish Is spotty in most places and you can see my nail through the the color. She over painted the gel polish on my nails so it kind of hangs over and is all over my skin around my nails. If you’ve had gel polish you know how much of a pain that could be to get off. Overall I am not happy with what I got for the money I spent there, I will be trying ANYWHERE else in a few weeks when I need them redone.

So my technician (so embarrassed I forgot her name) was very efficient and professional. She gets 5 stars and honestly deserves so much better. HOWEVER we had a JOURNEY together whilst getting my nails done. I sat down in the chair and she began. I had come in for a quick gel color and again, the lady doing my nails was AMAZING. Anyways half way through the gel polish process you have to start using the UV dryer. SO, first hand is polished and ready for dryer, I stick it in and out shoots a COCKROACH. I am freaking. Nail technician does not see but obviously believes me. Nothing is really said because how awkward and freak accidents happen. FIVE COCKROACHES LATER I schedule an appointment with my therapist because I have been pushed to the brink. She notified Kevin (?) and he said (in a voice a little too jolly for my taste) something along the lines of unfortunately the bugs are so small that when they get in the dryer, it is next to impossible to get them out. The nail technician was so embarrassed and again, this is in no way a reflection on her. But I could not believe that management made no effort to diffuse the situation. I hate this happened because this place is a stones throw from my house and so convenient in theory. But I could not stay silent about this.

Horrible job. I should have went to Walmart. The lady filed the polish down on the side. Now the polish doesn’t sparkle. They don’t have nail polish palette color scheme. I should have read the reviews. I thought with a manicure you supposed to soak the fingers and nails in warm water. Didn’t happen. She just soake my nails to remove the old polish off and that was it. First impression is the las impression. Won’t be coming back.
