Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI highly regret my decision to let Anaieta cut my hair.I have had a lot of haircuts and understand that you don’t always get exactly what you expect. But here, I will let you be the judge. I have posted a picture of the $65 haircut (+$10 tip) I received. As can be seen, it is non-symmetrical with small spikes and strands of hair poking out in various places.When I raised these issues to Anaieta, she did not accept that there was a problem. After she straightened my hair and it was even more evident (as pictured) that it was uneven, she tried to quickly fix the problem by making adjustment cuts (incidentally, this was while I was not wearing any smock and the hair got directly on my clothes). Despite my and my husband’s continued insistence that it wasn’t the same length on both sides, she did not accept that it was an issue and told us to go home and wash the hair and see if the problem still existed. Of course, two days later, after I did wash it, it became very clear that it was still not the same length. In fact, one of my co-workers commented on it (how embarrassing!) Also, upon showng my co-worker a picture of the cut, she pointed out how it was ridged and cut in a straight line–as if it had been cut by someone who is not a professional.Given now I have to get another haircut to fix the problem, I decided to ask for a refund. This was the first time in my life I had ever considered asking a hairdresser for a refund. But the quality of the haircut was just so bad and Anaieta unable / unwilling to recognize the problem, that I felt I had no choice. With a refund I thought I could go to another hairdresser to make my hair symmetrical. I called Anaieta to request the refund and she rudely refused before eventually hanging up on me (not very professional, in my opinion). Having given her one chance to fix it and not gotten any results (except for small shards of hair on my clothes), I could not take the risk of cutting my hair even shorter and more unevenly.Maybe this salon is better at other services, but Anaieta couldn’t give me a simple cut. I also had to wait over 45 minutes.
