1st off the lady at the front counter was polite and informative. She was a real angel, and alone worth 5 stars. But the stand up unit I used had 6 or 7 bulbs that were completely burnt out. All of them also had a black ring at the ends and they all seemed like different types. Maybe this is normal but the bulbs that where burnt out obviously are not good. The rates also seemed excessive.

I usually go to the location on Harbor Blvd because the employees are knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I only went to this location because I was in the area and in a hurry. When I walked in, only 2 guests were ahead of me to spray tan, I was told it would be a 10 minute wait. 30 minutes later, I’m still sitting here. I have a sunless unlimited membership, and have always sprayed dark for free. The employee, Lydia, told me at first that I had no promotions on my account, when I asked her to check, she told me “Oh yeah, you have 20% off”. She then charged me for the dark spray, and when I asked her about it, she was very irritated and said “You can’t have both. So I charged you for the dark.” Would have been great to know ahead of time. I spent $90 in total on sunless spray and additives. The receipt she gave me doesn’t show any discount, and when I asked her to show me the discount her response was “It’s on there.” For someone who just made 90 in commission on me, you’d think she would be more accommodating. She was clearly trying to sell memberships and upgrades to everyone who walked in. Her demeanor was unprofessional and short.

Let me tell you my experience was just wonderful! I just moved to California from Manhattan and I’ve been to my share of tanning salons! First off Kimberly and Heather were extremely pleasant faces and greeted me kindly! Kimberly wakes me through the entire process and educated me on all the lotions. When it came time to use the bed, she walked me through each step and each button function!

To make a long story short, my membership with Palm Beach Tan lapsed due to a personal medical issue. When I was well enough to return to tanning, I was informed that I would have to pay the three months of monthly fees and bring my account current before I could start tanning again. I requested that the manager of the facility located on Jamboree in Irvine contact me and never received a response. I called to follow up a couple weeks later and was informed that he was no longer there and there was a new manager, Alex. I spoke to her and explained the situation and I was completely shocked and grateful at how she responded 🙂 she decided to waive the previous monthly fees and allowed me to start paying my membership again in December so that I could start tanning. Her handling of this situation was one of the highest level of professionalism and customer service I have ever expetienced! I don’t typically take time to share these details in surveys, but I would like to give Alex the credit that she is deserving of. Too many times, we take time out of our day to complain. I would like to take this time to say thank you for hiring someone like Alex, she is an asset to your organization that you should hold onto very tightly. It is specifically because of how she handled the situation that I will be a loyal customer of Palm Beach Tan till the day I die 🙂

Good luck on this place. Do not give you one mo free even though advertised. And put you in a contract you can not cancel till after they charge you even though dirty, novdirection on use of and no call button to ask for help while in machine. One thin hair cover not good for blondes., and waited 11/2 hrs to get the tan. Didn’t work on face! No help in place and mostly irritated customers! Thanks Bare Tan for sending loyal customers to this place!

NEVER come when Hannah is here. Most likely on Saturday or Sunday. This is my third occasion with her. She’s condescending, rude and most of all a liar. I have tried. Understood others who are still b the customer service industry- Hannah does not belong.
