I’ve been a member for years and have had mostly good experiences—but my chief complaint is that when a new member opens a membership, this process takes a very long time, and when there is only one person working, there may be 3-6 people waiting for more than 15 minutes just to check in. There is often no attempt to use the second computer to check others in while signing new members up. I’ve literally waited more than 20 min sometimes, without any service (or anyone acknowledging that I am there), and then had to leave because it was taking so long. This is the biggest problem I’ve witnessed at all ATB locations. It would be helpful if someone could address a more efficient way to sign up new members while simultaneously helping current members just check in to tan.

I had some extra charges on membership. I called customer service. Brittney got back to me right away. She addressed the issues, apologized and gave me another month for loyalty and for the inconvenience. KUDOS to Brittney for keeping me coming back to ATB! This place has gone downhill since changing ownership. The staff seem unable to define what the prior memberships cover. I have been in 4 times since the change and each time they tell me I can/can’t use different beds. The staff quality has gone down. It has always been a high turnover but the rooms seem dirtier, no uniforms, and they have their friends camping out in the lobby.

I just moved to this side of town and had always tan and did the red light therapy at the Aurora location. Anytime when you go to someplace new it’s a little unnerving. But Amber who was working was fantastic. I had trouble with the Red Light and felt stupid but she was so nice and helpful and just fun .she has awesome people skills. I worried for nothing, this place is great.

I moved hours away from the nearest At the Beach over a year ago. When I called to cancel I was told that I couldn’t cancel over the phone and that I had to come in person, which is not possible. She assured me that after a year I would be prompted to re-new my membership and if I didn’t renew I would not continue to be charged. That was not the case. I was charged for an additional 4 months. When I called I was told this was not true and that I would not be refunded. Considering I paid for a year without attending, you would think they received enough money from me yet they continued to charge me. I asked for a refund based on their employee’s lack of knowledge and was basically told to kick rocks… I know talent isn’t easy to find but there lack of retaining quality employees should not fall on their customers to suffer. That’s how you lose business!

Above and beyond from the start and two nearly three months later, its still what I look forward to the most every day. So glad she is there five of the six days I go there. I trust her with my skin more than I trust most doctors to send me a bill. She steers me towards the right product and services at the right time every time, and has never failed to give me the skinny on how those products and services work. Absolutely love this place! OMG this place is painful any time before 6 pm. They only have 1 person working, and so if there is anyone new signing up, it is a nightmare. I went in today, 5 people in the waiting room, so I left to get lunch, came back to 1 person, but waited 20 minutes before I finally left. And then, not really their fault, but you can’t turn left out of their lot, so I would bet 9 out of 10 people have to drive up to the next light and turn a u turn to go back south. just a terrible location.
