Critical: ValueVery sales oriented. The location was updated and well maintained and the staff personable until their pitch goes south. The entire experience was an over priced sales pitch and the beds aren’t worth the prices when comparable results and locations are available for a more economical choice.The packages are priced high and I had to ask the salesperson myself if it was a month to month agreement because they weren’t seemingly going to mention that it was a recurring charge. She started from the most expensive and moved down leading me to fully believe this is just a commission based approach not based on what the customer needs or wants. Then at the end told me I also had to pay an additional 20 dollar “enrollment fee”, AFTER I had agreed to specific prices and she had swiped my card Or buy their products for 20 dollars. I declined as I have medical reasoning for using lotions and essentially would have had to pay 70 dollars for a 50 dollar package I had agreed to. That’s tacky and sales oriented. She also did the math explaining if I only did individual visits at the recommended frequency, it would cost well over 200 dollars a week. WHO would pay that?! And why was this considered a good sales tactic? Now I just believe the beds are weak. I rescinded my choice to purchase the package as my trust was lost and decided to do a one time option (no enrollment fee there, weird) and the level 2 was NOT worth the nearly 20 dollar one time experience . Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, QualityIn all my years of getting spray tans, At the Beach Tanning Salon is easily the best place I’ve gone to. The young woman at the counter, who told me her name is Evelyn, was professional, competent, and friendly. She answered any questions I had and made sure I got whatever products that would help me achieve the results I was looking for. I was skeptical of getting a spray tan because of the bad experiences I’ve had at other tanning salons recently, but At the Beach seems to be the way to go from here on out. In all my years of getting spray tans, At the Beach Tanning Salon is easily the best place I’ve gone to. The young woman at the counter, who told me her name is Evelyn, was professional, competent, and friendly. She answered any questions I had and made sure I got whatever products that would help me achieve the results I was looking for. I was skeptical of getting a spray tan because of the bad experiences I’ve had at other tanning salons recently, but At the Beach seems to be the way to go from here on out. Thank you so much!

Critical: ProfessionalismWhen I initially went in to sign up for the spray tan package I was told that I would get every level of tanning with this package and I asked several times if I would be able to get all levels and again I was told yes so I signed up. I went in a couple days later and tanned then I went in last Friday and wanted a level 3 and was told that I would have to pay 5 dollars extra for anything above a level 2 so of course i was very upset and the lady working called the district manager and she stated that I was correct and I do get all levels. I went in again today to do a level 3 and another girl was working and stated that i would have to pay 5 dollars and I told her what was said the last time and the time and the time before that and she told me that she would call the corporate office to investigate what was sold to me. She was very very rude and I want to cancel my membership!! She always offering me the most up to date offers and usally upsells me on the lotions and I get them. Lol. She has really helped me choose multiple time on the packages or spray tan colors. She always offering me the most up to date offers and usally upsells me on the lotions and I get them. Lol. She has really helped me choose multiple time on the packages or spray tan colors.
