Mymy is very professional and I am happy with her work. I usually listen to a podcast while she works, or sometimes chat with Mymy and enjoy the ambiance. There are usually some nature montage scenes that play on the two video monitors and in the background generally either some classical or other easy listening instrumental music. —Backstory– I first discovered Pageant Nails in 2019 when I was brought in as a birthday gift with my family and we all got a mani/pedi and enjoyed the massage chairs. This year I have gone to get either a gel or powder dip style manicure. Positive experiences at this nail salon location. Relaxing, easy going atmosphere. Mymy is very professional and I am happy with her work. I usually listen to a podcast while she works, or sometimes chat with Mymy and enjoy the ambiance. Critical: QualityShe was very rough with my hands and cut me a little.& she was rude with no patience,shaking her HEAD (no) & smacking her lips while doing my nails and speaking a different language to co-workers. I don’t know what she was saying but I had a vibe that was very negative. Fingers were sore after walking out. Paid 70$ for CROOKED nails. She was very rough with my hands and cut me a little.& she was rude with no patience,shaking her HEAD (no) & smacking her lips while doing my nails and speaking a different language to co-workers. Critical: Punctuality3 Weeks ago I went for a pedicure and acrylic refill with gel. I made an appointment as to not waste time. Pedicure was great, then I ended up waiting 30 minutes for my manicure. Yesterday I went again and had my nail appointment set for 2:30pm. I arrived early for my pedicure to ensure it was done in time for my manicure. I was ready at 2:30pm, but ended up waiting 40 minutes after which the nail lady told me she will be with me in 5 minutes. After 5 minutes she started doing a pedicure for someone else! When I asked her about it she just said that she miscalculated…. and that I can reschedule…. The drive there is 25 minutes and the same back. I make an appointment because my time is very valuable to me. They clearly couldn’t care less about my time.
