The ladies were very nice. I was there for 3 1/2 hours for large box braids at a reasonable price. However I walked out with medium size box braids and the length was way too long for my liking. I’m 45 not 18. They did try to correct this by trimming the ends of the braids not cut them mind u. I will be going back to Oumy because of the price and quality of the braids and I wasn’t there for 5-6hours.. My experience here was great, next time I go I will explain FULLY how I want my braids as far as length goes so WE all understand each other…

Had my hair braided for a festival at a different hair salon and by the morning, one of my braids had fallen out completely and the other one was starting to fall out as well. I was in tears and researching Hair braiding shops at 7:30 am because I had to leave this morning as soon as possible. I was able to walk in and get into a chair immediately and the two ladies were incredibly nice to me, made me feel immediately welcome and helped me fix my hair. They took the time to make sure my edges were done right and that both braids were going to stay put all weekend. Honestly one of the best hair salon experiences I’ve ever had.

$280 for braids that did not last 3 weeks. Absolutely ridiculous. I don’t mind paying for quality and quality is not what I got. My edges are gone . Braids are falling out daily. I’m so disappointed. 3 freaking weeks!!! My $180 braids usually last 3 months.

If I could give these people a 0 stars I would. The older lady told me that her niece would be braiding my hair when I made the appt. When I got to the appt her niece was braiding another customer’s hair, then told the aunt to start braiding my hair. They took turns braiding mine and the other patrons hair. My hair was not like I requested. They also the worst attitude. I will never use these people again.

I scheduled an appointment and told them it was for my 4 yr old. I walked in she looked at me and looked at her then started saying that she couldnt do it right now that i had to come back in 4 hrs. That my daughter would cry and want me and that she knew how it was and thats how its going to be…it was wrong i felt horrible…my kids looked at me like what just happened. I had scheduled the appointment and they knew what it was for but treated me very bad… i could barely speak… so i sat in the parking lot and called a lot of people until i found someone that would have time to see us that day while we were in town. I would never reccomend this place to anyone she was cruel and just like the bad reviews….its all true. For those who think they are great im sorry but thats just not how you treat people….especially children…as if they cant hear you.
