Lisa was super fantastic!! I booked a wedding hair updo for my appointment, Lisa greeted me with such grace and fun!! I send photos of my desired hair ideas and we chatted on the phone for a consult. She asked great clarifying questions about my hair expectations and asked great questions about my hair texture and natural hair behavior. Lisa then took that Information and researched a few ideas that could work and verified them with me before we started!! I ordered a flower hair piece and Lisa navigated this with expertise even though she had not seen the hair piece before I brought it to her! Everyone was so so kind and made me feel super loved on my wedding day!! 10/10 highly recommend!!! (Also the wedding was the same day as the Halloween parade and a scarecrow dressed Lisa was truly incredible!!)

My first appointment at O’Brien’s with Lisa. She warmly welcomed me and then we started talking. Lisa listened to my style idea and made suggestions, too. She took her time and explained every step of the way. I really appreciated that courtesy. My hair looked absolutely amazing! Better than I thought. Healthy and shiny! I’ll be returning!

Such a wonderful experience this was my first visit and I had a wonderful experience. We were 20-25 minutes early for our appointment but they took me right in. I got a Brazilian wax, this was my first time getting this done but they made me feel super welcome and very comfortable for my appointment. I was very surprised with how easy everything went. I definitely plan to return very soon hopefully for a hair cut and more waxing. Thanks for such a wonderful experience I highly recommend ☺️

Not my top 5 best experiences. My hair needed to be fixed because it was longer on the right side. I let a friend cut it who was in school to become hairdresser. I made an appointment with a lady and explained this to her. I explained the situation and asked her to fix it. She proceeded to give me a “textured “ cut. The stylist even told me my hair was much longer on the right side. I explained that’s why I’m here, to get it fixed. I guess that communication was lost somewhere in her head, because she didn’t fix it, however I thought she had common sense enough to know that I didn’t want it left like that. She proceeded to cut. After styling it and making it really curly (my hair is wavy) and styling it on the right side, I didn’t notice it, until I got home. The next morning, after washing it, I could really notice it was a lot longer on the front right side, especially after her making the left side and back shorter. I called politely to ask if it could be corrected. I paid a good amount for that haircut, expecting better than what I had received. They obliged and gave me an appointment for that afternoon. A couple hours later I received a call from the lady that cut my hair. She was in disbelief that I was unhappy with my haircut. At this point, I was only mildly annoyed, but after speaking with her and her not taking any responsibility, now I’m angry. She proceeded to make unnecessary comments about she was “confused “ and “looked at the lady (who I spoke with) like she had two heads” and “how my friend cut my hair that way, and that’s not her fault “. Well, she is partially correct, but I paid you to fix it and you didn’t. When I get to the salon, I was so uncomfortable and angry that I could’ve spit nails. I told her that I wasn’t angry until I received her phone call. I didn’t appreciate it. She tried to make small talk, by even implying that “it was the end of the night for her” , and a “miscommunication “. The lady even made a comment that “my hair is shorter on the left side because I process my hair”. wow!! I will never be back!

I had a great experience at this salon. Lisa, the owner cut my hair and did an awesome job. She was incredibly friendly and welcoming! The rest of her staff was very sweet. I got in right at my appointment time and was very impressed with the results. My hair turned out even better than I was expecting. I highly recommend going here!

I got the pleasure of having my haircut by Katherine Mossey. She was so friendly and knowledgeable about the questions I had. She made the experience wonderful and I will definitely be back again. I walked in yesterday for a cut and nothing was available at that time. Lisa hooked me up with a great place down the street to get my nails done while I waited for my appointment. Not only did I get a great cut from Lisa but I also had an unexpected mani/pedi thanks to her suggestion. My day started out rough but Lisa helped turn it around. I also love that they are open on Mondays!
