scheduled a hair cut on a whim here, it’s nice that you can make an appointment via text. little did i know i’d receive the worst haircut of my life. the guy who washed my hair seemed like he was in a rush. the guy who cut my hair was nice, i wanted subtle layers and i showed him a reference pic – tbh it looked nice when styled, but once i washed my hair i noticed the flaws. first off, it would have looked COMPLETELY fine if he didn’t thin my hair out to the max. like it felt like i had lost 20lbs off my head. the bottom layer looks so uneven and stringy due to the amount of thinning he did. it looks so awkward. if you have thick hair make sure to tell them not to thin it out, it’s clear they don’t often work with thick, wavy hair. anyways i’ve always loved my hair and now i’m crushed. trying to cope rn, can’t even wear my hair down

Here’s a before and after and it pretty much speaks for itself. They were very caring and kind. My hair is damaged from previous treatments in other places but they cared more about my hair than an expensive treatment and that meant everything to me. The end color they did was beautiful without the need of bleaching to achieve what I wanted. I gave 4 stars because I have curly hair and the blow dry was average. Even with this I would still come back. The salon is cute and they are very clean and organized. I would definitely recommend.

I’ve gotten a haircut from Louis back in February and it was probably one of the worst haircuts I have ever gotten. I had to go back the day of and have him fix my hair but he made it even worse. It seemed like he didn’t know what he was doing so my advice to the gals is to not go to him specially for haircuts. Usually there is a blonde guy who cuts hair super well. Other than that, he should just stick to coloring and not offer cuts.

The salon is clean, most importantly, the price is reasonable in the neighborhood, I would say the outcome is better than what I had from some expensive salons in Manhattan. First time getting hair cut in over a year, glad I found this place. Also first haircut place I went in NYC after 4 years of living here haha. Prices good, under $45 including tip (and I tiped well) for wash and cut and I asked to make my hair thinner, I walked out feeling 10lbs lighter while still appearing to have healthy thick looking hair.

I’ve been twice for haircuts. First one was a pretty good cut although it felt rushed. But it grew out nicely and styled well at home (my deciding key factors on the quality of a cut). 4 stars.

Excellent! I got a wash, cut and dry. I set up an appointment via text for 4pm, showed up 5mins early. Immediately got my hair washed, and waited a few minutes for my cut. The cut went quickly and efficiently, and I was really happy with the results. Would definitely recommend and I intend on returning for trimmings and stuff.
