Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityI made a 9am appointment, but she didn’t get started on me until 11. I was quoted one price on the phone and then told a different price that was $100 more. I made a 9am appointment, but she didn’t get started on me until 11. I was quoted one price on the phone and then told a different price that was $100 more. I requested box braids, but got individual braids because I couldnt see that they weren’t box braids until she got toward the front of my head… also most of the braids in the back have an 1/2 inch to a full inch of French braiding at the start… the braids I got do look nice, but definitely not what I asked for and I definitely not going back there

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI called at 6:15pm on a Friday to see if they did knotless braids and to see if I could come in Saturday morning for an appointment. I was told yes but they were booked for Saturday, after hanging up I noticed a missed call and it was the shop calling me saying I could come in now if I wanted to, within 30 minutes I made it to the shop so about 6:50pm on a Friday night and let me just say this was my first time here, I was just giving them a chance off of previous reviews and I am so glad I did. I needed to wash my hair and they had no problem doing so, the first woman to wash my hair washed it with care, it wasn’t a rush job, she washed it twice, conditioned it and was super pleasant. And nowwww we have Martha the lady who braided my hair, a complete angel !!! The other two left after washing my hair and she looked down at me and said it’s just me and you now, Martha braided my hair from 7:15 until 2:30am nonstop NO COMPLAINTS !!!! She made sure I was pleased and her son even came in to sit with us to make sure we were safe until we left the shop. My experience was the best and I will never go to another African shop again. Thank you so much for everything. Go to this shop you will not be disappointed!!! I called at 6:15pm on a Friday to see if they did knotless braids and to see if I could come in Saturday morning for an appointment. I was told yes but they were booked for Saturday, after hanging up I noticed a missed call and it was the shop calling me saying I could come in now if I wanted to, within 30 minutes I made it to the shop so about 6:50pm on a Friday night and let me just say this was my first time here, I was just giving them a chance off of previous reviews and I am so glad I did.
