Good job on my pedicure and gel manicure. I provided a picture of what I wanted and she tried (not very difficult design). Was still charged full price even though the design was not executed as shown.

Critical: QualityI visited this place October 31st due to prepping before I go into labor. I only went because my original & 2nd choice nail shop closed early or was closed for the day. The services I requested was a polish change on my toes, acrylic gel overlay and clean up on brows.Polish Change: The young lady was semiprofessional; however, you could tell she didn’t want any additional conversation which was perfectly fine, so I put in my EarPods and left it at that. I chose a pink color with glitter. I understand how these types of polishes can get chunky, but the application completed by a nail tech was done by tapping the brush against my toe nail in an attempt spread the nail polish. She did not use long or short strokes to apply it, so the result was extremely lumpy. Additionally, she did not paint or even attempt to paint the full nail. It looked like a toddler painted them (honestly, they would have done it better). I asked her to please ensure she paints my entire nail especially the corners, but she acted as if I was a bother by requesting adjustments to services im paying for! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A SKILL ALL PEOPLE NEED TO LEARN.Acrylic Overlay: Another woman completed my overlay. This was the worst attempt at an overlay in my entire life. There was no length to the nail, polish was lumpy, there was a space approx. 3/4 of a centimeter away from my cuticle where she hadn’t applied any acrylic or any nail polish. Additionally, the color was not a color I picked. I asked her will that gap be fixed and to please remember to paint my nail in its entirety. She just nodded her head, but it was never fixed. Furthermore, the acrylic and polish were SUPER THICK and round as if a hill of acrylic was sitting on top of my fingers. The nails were uneven and ultimately, I knew it was bad when I showed my boyfriend, and his reply was “you went to another place didn’t you?” LOLEyebrows: Ill try to make this short and sweet. The result looked like she placed wax on my head around my eyebrows and pulled it off to appear as if she were really waxing my eyebrows. Once completed my eyebrows looked the exact same except for now having wax streaks still on my face! No tweezers were used no clean them up nor was there any product used to remove the leftover wax from my face.At the end of this whole mess, I ended up paying because they provided a service (I even tipped, when I didn’t think the quality of the job was worth it). As you probably know I went to my original nail salon within the next 2 days to have them fix it! We literally started from scratch so that was money thrown out the window. Overall, my experience was so disappointing aka piss poor! I was annoyed, saddened, and upset with the lack of attentiveness, presentation of my nails, and customer service.PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY, TIME & ENERGY! DO NOT get your nails done here, even as your last resort. I guarantee you will leave dissatisfied and/or refuse to pay. The quality of the service was poor, the colors and designs were outdated, and the shops presentation looked dirty, dusty, and old. I will NEVER visit this place again.Services: Gel manicures, Acrylic nailsI visited this place October 31st due to prepping before I go into labor. Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueThey have the absolute worst customer service. My nails lifted up completely and when I called over the phone about the issue the lady on the phone was very rude and unprofessional. She told me to come in so that they can see my nails and then hung up the phone with out saying bye or giving me an opportunity to say anything. When I arrived at the nail salon they asked me who had done my nails. As I looked around to find the lady that did my nails, she tried to turn her head away as if she was embarrassed to be pointed out. The gel polish on my nails repeatedly kept falling apart and they tried to tell me it’s because my nails are two weeks old. I explained to them that I had my nails done less then a week and that my nails lifted up and the gel polish fell off in two days, which isn’t supposed to happen. I told them to just fix my gel polish and that I would never return. They were having a complete disrespectful conversation about me right in front of me. I would not recommend this nail salon. The same nail tech started on my nails and half way through told me to have a seat back in the waiting area while she start on someone else’s nails. I told her NO because you’ve already started on my nails and that she needs to finish. I am a paying customer just like anyone else and I should be treated with respect as a paying customer. I wish that I could give this nail salon a zero rating because that is what they deserve. They have the absolute worst customer service. My nails broke with in a week. I called and they told me I could go in but then tried to charge me. She then hung up the phone on me. Very rude. The nails are cheap for the price you are paying. It’s sad that in times like this, they really are taking advantage of people. But it’s time to support black and stop giving money to these people. They don’t care and are automatically rude. Never again. The worst in Oxon hill so far.

Critical: Professionalism, QualityWorst salon ever. I called at 11:45 inquiring about a specific service. I was given a price and was told that I could come get it done now. I arrive at 11:59 and they tell me they don’t do what I wanted done at all lol. Even though I had just spoke to them on the phone.

Critical: QualitySo I entered this salon of course checking for if they are clean and they are clean however between customers I didn’t see them wiping down chairs, I had to ask the original person who started with me toWear gloves, also when the next person started on me she sat to me close another customers I moved my chair and she then asked the other customer to to the next place, when I went to go wash my hands I noticed they have a sign that says to wash your hands before services can start, but no one asked me to do that I was just expecting more detail to cleanliness and maintaining CDC guidelines about distance and I wasn’t happy with my wait either it seems like a nice spot just maybe not the spot I would go during this challenging time I have been at other nail salon who are doing temperatures and really spacing clients out and also wiping down after and in between clients and I just did not see that at this salon, so I cut my appointment short and left for my own healthSo I entered this salon of course checking for if they are clean and they are clean however between customers I didn’t see them wiping down chairs, I had to ask the original person who started with me to …More
