Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI called ahead 3 hours prior to appointment time. Arrived early with my best friend for a girls day to a salon we had never been to before. We were asked to wait. We waited ten minutes to be sat no worries. I was informed after being sat the design we wanted could only be done if we pay more and do gel. Didn’t say any more about it. Looked at the colors then asked why it was only gel could have designs. No response like we couldn’t be heard . Waited … my friend’s pedicure by the guy had the scrubbing done on her heels and I asked if my lady would be doing the same and was told yes. She returned, placed hot towel and said she already did it. When confronted with my friend as a witness she swore she already did it ,that it was part of the process they follow but maybe I needed more which would cost more. Mind you she never scrub my feet at all. I asked them to stop and paid for what they thought was fair this far. They had soaked my feet and clip my nails oh and place a hot towel on my legs within 10 minutes . I ended up paying them a. 20 dollar fee. We Turn around and a walk in comes. She was seated immediately and they offered her a beverage. Mind you my friend who was still in chair hadn’t offered anything to drink. My friend was told the lady would be doing the design for what she was trained to do and with gel only . the guy did everything but her big toe. My bestfriend had a photo to show what she wanted and was paying additional for . To turn around and the guy finished everything but her big toe-which should be to high quality . Now please tell me why this design can ONLY be done with gel.
