The Hot Chocolate Cup
I gave 2 stars because the service was okay. However, every time I told them my nail or the polish pr anything was a bit uneven or too clumpy the lady who I think is the owner gave sort of an attitude. She offered water and gave me 1/4 of a cup of it. I asked if I could wash my hands before they polished and she kept insisting I do it afterwards- which defeats the purpose in my opinion. Last but not least she was aggressive while polishing my nails and they also got upset when I pointed out that my foot scrub wasn’t enough as they only scrubbed in one area on my feet my a few seconds, all the while I’m getting my feet scrubbed the other one was doing my nails which caused the lady on my feet to not scrub as hard due to her not wanting to mess up the lady from doing my hands. it felt a bit rushed and I would not say I won’t recommend, but I won’t go back. Nails were super short (I asked for average nails, which were supposed to be $45) but instead I ended up with baby nails. Ugh I did not complain because I already had it in my mind that I was not tipping if service wasn’t up to par, and it wasn’t according to everything I listed. They were nice but aggressive and seemed to not care to do a superb job. So I give them a 2*’s.

Service was horrible!!! She kept adding prices on prices for every thing. Not necessary!!! Rude! Slow!! She snapped at my little niece about what color she wanted. I told her we will go some where else and charged us for that little time. We were there. she said 5.00 and the charged me 6.50. Worse service ever. Took 30 minutes just to remove my old nails.

Very friendly staff and my overall experience was pretty nice. But I was told $45.00 before starting my nails for both toes and hands then when I went to pay the price suddenly shot up to a whopping $75.00! I never got anything extra I told the lady exactly what i wanted and provided pictures and was told it would be 45.00. I definitely didn’t appreciate being deceived this way. So i did not tip. Plus one nail on my left hand is very dull looking compared to the other nine nails. I’ve inserted two photos of each left and right hand. But overall I liked the service I received. But i probably wont be returning. Heather did my nails.

Absolutely love this place for all beauty needs whether it be nails or eyebrows! I’m a picky New Yorker who recently moved to El Cajon so finding the perfect place for me was hard. I asked for a simple clean gel mani and pedi and the ladies delivered!! The ladies here are warm and welcoming and are very neat and detailed when they do their magic❤️ I’ll always come here and only here . The customer service is on point . You won’t regret coming here.

They tell you one price and then they try to do charge you more for another…they don’t understand English very well so it’s hard to cumunicate what you want and have them understand you or vice versa…the sho p owner was rude in trying to explain and after I told her she stated I was rude for telling her that..and to top it off she lied straight to my face saying she explained it to me before and I never saw her or talked to her about her
