Hi! I’m Jessica and I came in for an evening appointment on Monday 3/28 with Dana! I was so nervous and had never had highlights of any type before OR extensions. She reassured me that she had me covered and WOW! I couldn’t believe the results of my color in just one visit. My highlights came GORGEOUS and she installed 4 bundles into my head! HUGE transformation, perfectly matched to the hair, and she did it FAST! My hair was an absolute mess both color and cut uneven previously. I feel like an entirely different person now! She was constantly checking my foils and did not sit down once. So much respect for Dana and those magic hands!!! Jeanna also assisted her and cut my hair, thanks Jeanna! Not only are they both so professional but we actually had so much fun. Thank you so much to both of you for making me into the blonde barbie of my dreams! Everyone HAS to see these two!

I went into Moxie on Tuesday 8/9 and got a spray tan by Kelly. She was so informative the entire time on what exactly was happening from step to step. My tan almost a week later still looks great! Next I got a blow out by Dana, and let me tell you.. magical. I left that salon feeling like a whole new me. Her talent is unmatched. They even gave my 4 year old “fairy” hair while I was getting my blow out – how cute?! The vibe and cleanliness of this salon was an easy 10 and I will definitely be returning to try more of their services!

Truly blown away by the professionalism and talent at Moxie Montclair! I came in to see Jeanna for a highlight and also received a haircut from Eve and makeup from Naila. My expectations were surpassed and I left with an even better and more beautiful outcome than I was expecting. Each of the service providers took their time to listen to my vision while guiding me in a realistic way to achieve the best result. Kelly, the manager, was super proactive and continued to offer assistance and ask if I needed anything. I love it here and think I have found my home for all things beauty! Thank you, Moxie Montclair! You are superior to every other salon out there!!!

UPDATE: The manager was kind to call me and said that I could get a shape-up again to blend in the layers again and even out the length. I met with Sparkle today who listened to what I wanted. She blended in my layers and made them look wispier and adjusted my cut to my actual part. I’d definitely go back to Sparkle again for my haircuts.

They are amazing here! They made me feel so beautiful I cried when I saw myself. Jeanna is an excellent colorist and very knowlegedable. Naila did my make up and she truly is an artist!! Kelly was so sweet and always checking in to make sure my service was going well. You have to come here – you won’t regret it. These girls are so talented!

I came to Moxie for a blow out/style and full make up application. It was my first time ever getting my makeup professionally applied and I was nervous. I enjoy a natural look. I had such a pleasant experience! Millie (spelling?) did my blow out and was so kind and gave me the exact style I wanted and was able to do it in a timely and thorough manner! Naila applied my makeup and was truly wonderful. She kept checking in at different points to make sure I was pleased with the application, asking me for my feedback, and was just so talented, precise and considerate. I honestly can’t wait to see her again! She made me feel fabulous and confident at a time in my life when I needed it most.
