This January will mark 3 years of me being a customer. Violeta is consistent and a true talent! I trust her for my color, cut and styling. Towards the end of the summer I started to bring my boyfriend’s daughter. She has always dyed her own hair and frequently. Violeta worked her magic to do a much needed color correction & we were recently there to finish the process. She also had a cut & took the time to teach her how to blow dry/style it properly. She looks beautiful! She gets compliments everywhere she goes and it truly helped w her confidence. Violeta & her staff are kind & professional. The salon is clean and welcoming. Thank you Violeta for everything you do, I even appreciate our talks and your positivity & support during my difficult time. Much love to you & your team!

Came to get styled for my a wedding. And left super disappointed and dissatisfied. They insisted we come early when in fact they only took 20 min to finish styling our hair. Only scrunching which is so damaging to hair and a bit of hair spray our hair literally lasted 3 hours not even till the start of the wedding! Not to mention we came with straightened hair and was charged 100. I don’t recommend coming to this salon if you want quality results and care.

This salon just quadrupled their space after a move, and its still bustling and full! Super professional owners and down to earth young women running the show. Receptionist Yona is as great as anyone in NYC running schedules. Very responsible, never cancel and so reliable. Great blow outs that last. Perfect neighborhood resource for great hair as you need it.

My daughter made an appointment for prom. Curls only— asked me to reserve her place with my card— I did and quoted $55–early April we booked for 5/25. I was with her because she use my card. Hutchison River pkway closed exit and she called to say she’d be late. Called again because the traffic was horrendous. Due to exit. They couldn’t take her — and we understood — we were late we’ll pay $55. THEY CALLED TO SAY THEY COULD TAKE HER BUT HER SISTER TOOK HER SOMEWHERE ELES. SO WE THANKED THEM AND AGAIN UNDERSTOOK WED BE CHARGED 55. They charged us $100. BASICALLY STOLE FROM A 17 year old girl. We called our bank and bbb to report them

Violeta is a color expert. If you want to find a forever colorist who truly knows how to work your hair, someone who will listen to you and work with your ideas… This is the place. It is always spotless, not the traditional busy, loud hair salon. She is kind, patient and always on time. The service is always great. Price is fair. Make sure to bring quarters for on-street parking.

My hair was an absolute mess from trying to dye it myself during the pandemic. I came in for just a cut with Lydia who was super sweet and not judgmental at all about my mop head lol. She recommended coming in and having their colorist Lola do a touch up. I pushed it off until this March. I had called to see if I could schedule a consultation, and the receptionist was able to squeeze me in for a coloring that very same day. Lola was fantastic and completely transformed my hair, it felt so silky and smooth as I was leaving the salon I was in love! Again, I pushed off going in for another coloring until this August (see my roots in the second picture, yikes!) I set up an appointment with the owner, Violeta, who was very professional and didn’t keep me waiting even though the salon was full. I showed her some examples of what I wanted and she knew exactly the style I was going for. Overall the staff is great, the prices are fair, and I will definitely be coming back.
