Logan did an amazing job on my bridal hair and makeup. She went above and beyond my expectations! I felt beautiful all day! She was so fun to work with! Trying to communicate with the salon to book the wedding and payments/deposits was a little complicated, but everything worked out in the end.

We went to get my son a haircut, scheduled a scissor cut with Shelby. We asked to a trim, my son had longer hair, below the ears, we wanted the back trimmed up a bit as the front was a little shorter (like when boys are trying to grow their hair out to all the same length) She butchered it, chopped it!!! She brought the back WAY up and angled it to the front like a woman hair cut!!! We tried to get her to fix it three times before it ended up being buzzed! He cried and cried, refuses to take a hat off, years of growing out his hair to have it end up buzzed all the same length!!! So upset! So disappointed! My poor boys first day of school and school pics and all we will remember is this awful experience.

This was my first time at Metropolitan and it will be my only time. I recieved a manicure and pedicure and was not impressed. Some of my nails weren’t painted all the way and they were not filed for shape, just cut. Would not recommend for the price.

Critical: Punctuality, Quality, ValueThe salon itself was ok. Offering a few waiting chairs wouldn’t be a bad idea. My first time being there and my last. Alex apologized for being late, then asked what I wanted. I told her “balayage” then her next question what’s my budget. I told her $300. she got to work immediately but started pulling out foils and said because of my hair type, she has to use foil. My understanding is, foil is highlights. So somewhere along the line my hair turned orange and she mentioned, “sometimes colors just does it’s own thing” then she laughed it off. Her assistant finished toning my hair. I can tell she had her fingers cross and hope It will slide. Being there was other people in the store I didn’t want to embarrass her career as a Redken Professional. I spent 4.5 hours and because I told her my budget was 300. She gave me uneven highlights and tried to pass it as a balayage. Never will waste time and money again. Lauren is an amazing stylist! She is very personable and fun to talk to with the many hours I am getting my hair done! She always clarifies and will tweak or change anything you want. She is also extremely helpful and knowledgeable about what will look good on you color wise or haircut wise and offers her opinions to make you look your best. I have been going to her for a couple years now and she is awesome!
