Was a walk in for haircut, place is a ghost town 3 woman standing around but all too busy to give me a haircut (only shaving the sides, 5 minutes of work / 5 minutes of prep and clean up). 10.17 am girl says we have someone coming in in 5 minutes, yeah ok because someone really booked an appointment for 10.23 am. Gotcha! And then tells me the next available appointment is 4 days away, HA! Yeah I’ll go to a non chain barber who actually cares about the clientele.

Over the past couple years I’ve been to a few different Haircut/Barbershop places in the last few years and I have to say Men’s Hair House is my favorite in the West Bend area. Their services are reasonably priced and my favorite stylist Kristal does an amazing job! I would recommend anyone looking for an amazing haircut/beard trim to go see her.

Critical: PunctualityNo one showed up! My boyfriend schedule an appointment via their online booking system & received a confirmation email & everything. He arrived to his appointment 7 minutes early to find no one at the salon, no big deal, people run late. Well he waited 25 minutes passed his appointment time, calling numerous times & even going to the door (where there was also someone else waiting for their appointment, to not be had). No one ever came to let him in. He & the other person ended up leaving because no one ever opened the salon. He arrived to his appointment 7 minutes early to find no one at the salon, no big deal, people run late. I’ve enjoyed hair cuts here since they opened. They are following safe covid guidelines now. Along with a good cut, you get a shampoo and scalp massage. My advice is to try out several of the stylists, and then go back to the one that you like best. The quality of care and cut varies among them.

I set up an appointment 2 days prior for my son and even set a reminder in my phone after setting the appointment. 20 minute drive and standing in the lobby with my 4 year old and they don’t see an appointment. Ill never go here again and suggest you don’t either.

The only reason I gave this 3 stars was my appointment time. I scheduled in advanced, a 1 pm appointment. I was told they were running a few minutes late. I finally was called back at 1:43 pm. No apology or update was given, while I awaited. The stylist and hair cut were fine and no issues there. My only issue was almost 45 minutes late on a scheduled appointment. From reading reviews, it seems to be very common. I personally will not go back due to this.
