I have neglected my hair for years with cuts only every 6 months. I decided to buy the bullet and treat myself since the location was convenient to me. Oh wow! Rosa was fantastic and made me feel so much better about my hair. She was patient with showing me the best way to wash my hair for the hair type I have and I left the salon the happiest I’ve been with a haircut in a long time. Hopefully I can do half as well as she did with the washing and styling! It was worth every penny and I will definitely be back!

I love going to Menagerie because it is such a relaxing experience. The salon is aesthetically pleasing yet comfortable. I have seen Mandy a few times, and she truly is a gem. My hair always looks great without me having to say exactly what I’m looking for, and she makes the entire experience fun. My hair color looks perfect, the hand massage is *chef’s kiss* and I would recommend Mandy (and Menagerie) to anyone who hasn’t found a “hair home” in Raleigh.

So basically I had gotten the worst haircut while traveling and was trying to grow it out for months/did not feel confident. Then I came in on a random day after work and Rosa gave me THE best haircut of my LIFE! She worked with the texture or my hair, my face shape, and even more impressively incorporated where my color had grown out to make the shape really stand out. In the past, I was always nervous to get my hair cut because most stylists don’t understand curly hair, so I put it off for a year and a half. However, Shira truly took the time to get to know not only my hair, but also me and what I was looking for. Also, Korina did a fabulous job helping to tag team when it came time to diffuse! Love that I can make appointments online AND see the prices. That’s what drew me in after being referred by a friend a few months ago. I have seen Shira 3 times now and she’s amazing. My hair has never looked so good! She always asks what I’m looking for and doesn’t push any additional services.
