Kristen is a 2010 graduate of Lauterstein- Conway School of Massage. She offers studio; thai mat suspension bodywork and mobile Thai mat bodywork. Kristen has been trained in carpal tunnel massage, TMJ massage, and cupping. If couples massage or events requiring more than one therapist are requested, I can arrange for extra therapists with enough heads up. I also book back to back sessions if roommates or partners would rather save a little money instead of hiring a second therapist and doing couples massage which is at a slightly higher rate. I will work weekends & with direct contact we can get that scheduled.

Where do I even begin! Kristen actually listens to your concerns and goals. She reviews notes from each session and clarifies problem areas that need extra work prior to beginning. She can sense your muscles tensing and gently releases pressure, truly listening and reacting immediately to your body’s needs. She’s also very clean and her office is calm and inviting. Her sweet pup journey is also a nice perk! Who doesn’t love an adorable dog who is excited to see you before and after each session??? You are on the floor instead of a table, she is applying pressure with feet/elbows/knees/hands/hips instead of just the arms. As well, the tempo of the session was much slower where pressure was applied over a muscle group for much longer than I’m used to. It was very different, but I felt like I was able to open up ranges of motion that were stuck for years. Massage with Kristen was much different than most massage places. You are on the floor instead of a table, she is applying pressure with feet/elbows/knees/hands/hips instead of just the arms. I’ve been having back pain for months, and neck pain for years. Tried everything from deep tissue massages, acupuncture, cupping, chiropractors, stretching, PT’s, and nothing had worked. I was unable to play golf and general mobility was even restricted at times. I went to Kristen for one session and I was able to play golf the next day! It was absolutely life changing for me, and I feel very fortunate I was able to meet her. Been getting professional massages for two decades, and was blown away by the Thai bodywork mat massage that Kristen provided. Literally, may have been the best massage of my life. And that is saying a lot. I felt lighter and could move better almost immediately after. Wow. In 20+ years, this is the first review I have ever written for a place of business. I have had massages all over Austin for the past 5 years and this is by far the best I have ever had. After dealing with severe tendonitis in both arms for over a week I decided it was time to visit Kristen. Her application of a Thai massage is without a doubt the fastest-working pain-relief treatment I have ever had. I said screw the chiropractor and went with my girl Kristen. We used to work together at Topgolf so it was easy relaxing cause I knew I was in good hands. Especially since my good friend Randee Pringle suggested I go to her. She to was suffering from a sciatic nerve killing her and said how amazing Kristen’s massage is. I felt like I was truly listened to and Kristen made me feel like we were in this together. I wasn’t gonna leave her house feeling the same way I walked in. Majority of my massages were nothing like this experience. I’m very happy and can’t wait to get another massage from Kristen. The way she communicated what she was doing and made sure I was relaxed before getting deep in my tissue was amazing. She’s not just doing this for the money she’s here to help you get what you want and to have the best relaxing experience.
