As I reviewed comments, I’m somewhat appalled. I’ve been a client of Mark for several years and I have ONLY had pleasantries. While it may not be your preference be careful to not discourage others. I’ve had opportunities to be served by multiple stylist at the salon and NEVER was dissatisfied, offended or felt violated in any way. We all have our own way, opinions and I respect that, so can we embrace the services rendered rather than finding faults. I come to receive a service and the service’s I’ve received have always been exceptional. If you disagree, just go where you are comfortable, but don’t discourage others. Mark and all the stylists are my spiritual children. Show them LOVE as that’s displayed in the salon. Grace and Peace!

My appointment was with Mark Anthony himself and it was absolutely, positively the worse experience I have ever been through. ever in my life. He was highly unprofessional. I had my appointment scheduled 2 months in advance and paid the deposit. He called me to see if I could re-schedule the day before my appt. I told him that I couldn’t because I was getting my hair done for a special trip I was taking that coming weekend. He said he could fit me in tomorrow night and so I went after work. I arrived at 3:30pm and he kept putting other clients before me. I had a simple sew in that I wanted and long story short I did not get out of there until 10pm. I will never return, ever. It was so unsanitary, he pulled hair from batches he had laying around open and I told him I am not paying nearly $400 for old used hair. It was an absolute nightmare, I have never seen a salon so ridiculous. Also he did not do my style the way that I wanted it either. He cut it way too short because he said it was easier for him to do and it was too late for me to stop him because I didn’t see it until he was done. He kept me turned from the mirror on purpose so I couldn’t stop him or walk out because he knew I was about to leave. Don’t waste your time or money on this place.

This has by far been the worst experience I’ve had in my life at a salon! Today (2/23/19) is my baby shower. I scheduled an appointment and paid a 15 dollar deposit for 10 because my baby shower was at 2:00. I would have scheduled it earlier if I could but they didn’t have any available appointments. I get there and sit in the front for 45 minutes before my stylist ebony takes me back to wash my hair. She had 4 other people that she needed to attend to at the same time. I told her I had to be at my venue at 1:00. 12:30 came and I still wasn’t in her chair. I literally just got up and walked out and didn’t go to my own shower. I had no time to get my hair and make up done. This whole experience ruined what was supposed to be my special day. Ebony made it clear she wasn’t aware that she had been overbooked like that but that was not my problem or concern. I will never step foot in this place again. If I could give it 0 stars I would

The worst experience ever I had my first encounter with Mark Anthony when I went to his salon to get a consultation for my partial micro link installation. At the consultation he informed me that I had enough hair to do a partial installation. He also did a consulation of my hair type to determine what texture hair I had that would be a good match for my micro links. He also mentioned that it would take up to five hours to complete the style.I was scheduled to go to Mark Anthony’s Hair Studio to get a partial micro link installation installed into my hair my appointment was at 11:15 a.m. Once I arrived to his shop, I wasn’t greeted t fifteen minutes later and she washed my hair and conditioned my hair.After conditioning my hair, she placed me under what I believe was a steamer and afterwards she sectioned my hair to be blow dried by Mark Anthony the hair stylist. After blow drying my hair he asked me to take a seat while he began silk pressing another client’s hair. I waited between 30-45 minutes before he started to silk press my natural hair. While silk pressing my hair he stopped to provide a consultation for another client who came in and indicated that she was looking for him because she tried messaging him. He then provided her a micro link consultation on the spot (However, the consultation cost $25) and is suppose to be booked beforehand. He stopped to do a full consultation with her for free. This was the second time he stopped and put someone before me. He did not actually start on my silk press until almost an hour and half later. Once he completed the silk press he then started to install the micro links. While doing my hair he was actually doing two other clients hair. Therefore, he was doing my hair and starting and stopping and working on two other ladies hair at the same time. The first client I saw him work on was a lady that he blow dried her hair to prep her hair for a silk press and the second lady he had there he had braided up her hair to get ready to install a wig on her head. Nevertheless, I was very upset and disappointed with the service rendered. I wasted my money and my hair was still left improperly installed leaving me to spend more money on another style and this was the worst and most unprofessional ordeal I have ever experienced. I will never be back.

If I can give it no stars I would. I was very satisfied with my silk press, however I should have known that the fact it lasted so long it was too good to be true. Normally the silk press only last a week but this time it lasted a whole 3 weeks. Moreover, when I washed it my curls didn’t come back. I normally have a tight coil (4c) now my coils are similar to (4a). HEAT DAMAGED FOR SURE!!! NOTHING I can do now. I called to discussed this with him(Mark) and his only bail out was that I must have put some heat in my hair for this to happen. But this was not the case. I dont know what happen but never again, its like starting over. Its your hair, your risks but be careful.

I didn’t have a good experience at this salon. I agree hat it is unprofessional. I also find the owner to be detached and stuck up. He didn’t even acknowledge me or speak. What kind of owner is he. The way you treat your customer is very important. The owner is not up to par and very immature. I won’t be back.
