My haircut was very professionally done. I usually have a difficult time with my cowlick and other aspects of my hair, but the barber was able to cut it and cut it to perfection. I didn’t really know what I wanted but with some vague descriptions he didn’t excellent job.

Place is a facade. Was expecting a little more than the store looked like from the outside. Barbers are almost annoyed when walking come in and each person purposely takes their time to avoid cutting the next persons hair. Haircuts were sub par and I wouldn’t recommend my friends or family. Disappointed. Should appreciate walk ins not get annoyed by them.

Halloween day I had an appointment for a haircut with Alex at 10:25 I was no more than 5 min late and he was well into another haircut at which point he told me to wait for someone else to be free. This is how I ended up with Luis… the moment I sat down I knew he wasn’t one of the good barbers in the shop. I proceeded to explain to him how i usually get my cut at my usual shop for the last 3 years from my last barber who’s shop has been closed due to COVID. He proceeded to tell me that he didn’t think I would look good with that haircut and that my hair would look like a “mushroom” so I went ahead and asked him to just cut it as close to how I usually cut it. He then gave me some advice on how he thinks it’ll look better his way so since I figured he knew what he was doing. I let him go ahead with his way. The cut was rushed choppy and not at all blended or faded properly. He was done with my haircut before any of the other barbers who had been working on a customer before I had even sat down. The fact that he claims to know best when I’ve been getting the same hairstyle for the last couple years is absolutely ridiculous especially when I’m coming to you for a haircut that should be done how I asked regardless of how you think it’ll look. The customer shouldn’t be told that your hairstyle is wrong or looks bad he actually laughed when I told him how I wanted it cut. Never again will I come to this shop I was better off just waiting for my usual barbershop to open back up.

We love going to the Mane Cave Barbershop. All of the guys are super nice and welcoming. Batman cuts my son’s hair and he is hands down the best around. We drive 40 minutes to have him cut my son’s hair and it’s worth it! The shop is fun and lively and we will always recommend them to everyone!!

Usually get my hair cut with Batman; today because of my schedule I went to Sal. Both do an outstanding job. There’s just something about Mane Cave that’s different than other barber shops. A different vibe—something special. You pay a little more than other shops in town for sure, but I think you get what you pay for. Everyone in the shop is friendly; they seem invested and they all seem to like each other. I’m now a loyal customer.

This is a newer barbershop that is starting to take off due to the high quality styling they do for gentlemen! I’m so glad I started coming here and getting my hair cut by Batman. He listens to exactly what you want done and is meticulous in cutting your hair that way. I would highly recommend coming in here and grabbing a cold modelo while getting trimmed up! The prices are worth the quality you get for it

We love the Mane Cave! Our boys have been seeing Batman for years, and we wouldn’t go anywhere else. He is so knowledgeable when it comes to cutting and styling hair! Not to mention always warm and inviting, making you feel at home at this barbershop! The rest of the staff are very professional as well, and really feel they set the bar as the best barbershop in the SCV!
