When walked in was greeted by the front desk lady. I wish I could remember her name… Was like a breath of fresh air!!Very helpful, smiling took care of me immediately. Then I get Rachel OMG she was amazing!!! She corrected my hair color. Wait then Rachel washes my hair … it was so relaxing!! I have to say it was the best shampoo I have ever had !! This was my first time at the color salon. I used their products at home during Covid and liked them. My colorist did an exceptional job matching my color and was very pleased with the gray coverage. The not so great part was the washing of my hair and styling it. The girl was so rough handling my hair that it was painful. Never had experienced that before getting my hair washed. Then when she started blow drying/styling with the brush OMG I can feel my hair coming off my head. I had to tell her to not pull so hard because it was painful. Perhaps they need to hire more experienced stylist for these services. Otherwise, I would give it a 5 star service

I made an appointment here for my daughter to get a color treatment and consult for home dyeing. They told me $95, with air drying. I was very specific with the details, including my minor daughter’s age, and was scheduled for same day appointment. Heard from a former potential customer of theirs that my teen can’t get her hair done here. It’s not obviously stated anywhere on the site I used. I only noticed bc I perused the FAQs. They also charge for late cancellations. THAT is stated on their page. Thank goodness the lady understood my dilemma and was quick to cancel with no charge. They almost got me. This place seems really cool, and they for sure have the better pricing, but DO NOT take your kids here, unless they are 18 plus. I had a really disappointed teenager for a bit.

Nancy Boyd – I had an appointment today to get my hair colored. I am used to the Plano Madison Reed location being a little bit behind in scheduling but as I sat there waiting for someone to do my hair 15 minutes later I was told they didn’t have the color. They made no offer to give me a discount on my next appointment and to reschedule me. It was very disappointing because this is what they do as a business and they should never ever run out of color.

It’s always great to spend some ‘me time’ without worrying about the hustle and bustle that is life. As soon as I walked in the door, I felt incredibly welcomed. Each stylist was very warm and friendly, but Jennifer took my session over the top. Her consult was thorough and we agreed on a color treatment that suited the highlights I already had in my hair. The process time took maybe 25-30 minutes and then I was whisked away to the shampoo chair, for a rinse and a scalp massage (which, we can all agree is the best part). The chairs are super comfortable, with a footrest and a moving bowl (so that your neck isn’t hurting the entire time). Next, Jennifer added a bit of mousse to my hair and gave me a slick blowout. From start to finish, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit… in fact, my next appointment is already made!

OMG- I went here for years and loved it- I didn’t get my touch up again till end of 2021- waited about 7-8 months. When I went to the Madison reed salon off legacy, I was expecting the same service. The person that did my color was horrible. I never write bad reviews. This person didn’t even color the gray. After I went to blow dry, I went to show the person the areas of gray they missed. I mean, that’s why you get root touch up for the gray you need covered up. It was not the same place from years before. When I walked in I should have noticed the faces of the people already getting their color. They all looked scared and worried what their hair was going to look like after their coloring. Unless they hire new Color experts I hope no one goes to this salon.

I love roots touch up service they provided, so I decided to try their highlight…. Pls do not make mistake like me!!!! IT WAS HORRIBLE! My hair was damage badly. They messed up the color and highlight. My hair color is ugly and awful. I will not trust them to do any other service except for roots touch up. Honestly, they only can do roots touch up..
