DO NOT WORK HERE MS JACKIE WILL TAKE HALF OF YOUR CHECK N THEY GOT ROACHES If hired at this place the owner Jackie takes your money. She literally fired me and then took half my check. After already taking %60 commission saying job abandonment. They have roaches too. You are spending 30+ hrs in the salon not getting paid hourly just by service. And you are paying for your own products. I made her salon $600 last week. She paid me $103 and pretty much told me to get a life and I’m fired. She shiesty watch out! And they got roaches real bad

“WOW! After years of searching for someone to give me a Twist Style, I finally took the Advice of my Sister and made an appointment at Locs for Life. Aquiya was my Stylist and she was/is Amazing. In and Out in a Timely manner and still had the whole day to do what I wanted. Since this was my First visit I had no clue as to what I wanted or what could be done. Aquiya gave Me numerous options and Explained them all. Will be returning next week and my hair still looks Amazing Thanks Aquiya You are Awesome .

I’ve been having scalp issues and while there are some medical things I’m working on, Ms. Gina has been gentle and creative with working with my hair. She takes her time and her styles give me confidence. She’s also very nice. I don’t usually get my hair done but I’m going to keep coming back to see Ms. Gina because I know she’ll take of my hair as my locs are very long now.

This happened some months ago and we haven’t been back since. She told me I did it to her hair n why would I wait months later to say something. I started my daughter dreads. I keep them up. She was very unprofessional via text. I just wanted to let her know what she did and that I fixed it. As she can see in the pictures where she cut it at and the growth adds up. We will never be back. I’ve never been here but after my phone call to get information and reading the reviews I doubt that I ever will. I’m very big on service and professionalism. It’s what distinguishes your business from any other. I called to get information on coloring and was put on hold indefinitely. Additionally I think $170 for hair color is outrageous.

I came to this place as a walk in. Which is most times a bad idea. The girl who I really had hoped could be my stylist said she had a scheduled appointment however the person never showed and the stylist available to get my hair done was a girl by the name of Ty. I was absolutely nervous. She had very few pictures of her work most of which were braid styles. She also was in the process of coloring someone else’s hair. I was washed started on and had to wait until she washed the guy’s hair. Time has become of essence for me as I have an appointment after getting my hair done. First and last time. Hopefully, I am pleased with the finish job. Hopefully your experience is more at ease than mine today.

I waited more than a hour the other two times not today.
