This salon specializes in dry hair cuts & color. Located in an old restored building, top floor. The woman that manages the shop, Jessica, will do her best to accommodate client’s needs. Lainey is has become my favorite stylist! But I’ve never seen a bad cut or color job here. Warm & friendly, free street parking & wine!

Absolutely the best in Dallas! I’ve been going to them for years and they always do an outstanding job. The salon itself is gorgeous. The chairs for hairwashing are actually beds that you lay down on so it’s super unique and comfortable. Robert, the owner, is always so friendly and truly cares about his customers. The only down side is parking in the area can be tough so get to your appointment early!

In 1997 I randomly walked into a hair salon in Downtown Dallas to get a haircut, and I was the luckiest to get Robert. He has been cutting my hair for 20 years! He is bar none, THE BEST. He has passion for his trade, enormous creativity, and such a positive personality. He works with and teaches the best in the business! I love taking my daughter there too and she always leaves feeling pampered and on cloud 9! Looking forward to the next visit!

Robert is a color genius and a master of the precision dry cut! His staff is always friendly and cheerful, and Live has positive energy with a relaxed ambience. The salon is located upstairs in a beautiful restored Victorian house with lots of natural light; parking is on the street, but if you are having trouble finding a space, call the salon and they will direct you to a place in the back.

Coming out of the military – haircuts have to be on point, and I usually don’t trust most places to get it done right. So I got a recommendation to check out R&R and made an app t with Anthony. I shared with him what I wanted and he clearly verified what he was going to do…which is where many places miss. The service and staff was friendly and created a fun atmosphere. This is always a plus and the cut was better than I expected. It’s always nice getting compliments walking around too. I have recommended this place to my friends and will continue to go here!

Fantastic place, simply put. A lot of young talent, emphasis on the talent. Very non judgmental, unlike some of the other hair studios you will go to. Jess did my cut and did a great job, left it very comfortable and easy to manage, but also up to date and not a super cuts haircut. The power went out while I was here, and it was not a big deal, I was moved to a different chair with better lighting, and they gave me a discount for the troubles, so hey, way to put the customers first.

Tasha is absolutely the best. I moved to California a year ago and still come back to Dallas every several months for a cut and color because she is the only person I trust with my hair. She’s got an amazing eye for color and is a total sweetheart. Her biggest flaw is that she’s hundreds of miles away from me now. 🙂
