It’s absolutely amazing, peaceful, and personal. She gives you 100% attention without distractions, no intrusions, and no customers. You have to book in advance and make a deposit to secure your appointment. It will also be used to pay for partially your hair color/haircut/blow dry (pay the difference). I showed her a photo of what I wanted, and she did exactly what I wanted. I absolutely loved how much she cared about my routine with my hair. Also, she does work in two cities, mcallen and Austin. In my 25 years of life in the RGV, I had never once had a hairstylist with the skill to cut and style my hair in a way that best shapes and defines my curls. It had taken me so long to embrace my curls and I’m so grateful that Cynthia provided a safe space for liberation from the societal norms surrounding hair that often confine women of color.
