Critical: ProfessionalismI went here mid day during the week. The salon was empty but I had to wait 30 minutes because the hair dresser was eating her lunch and socializing. When I finally got called, she started on my hair (that I had washed, detangled, and blow dried myself). I flinched very dramatically within 20 seconds of her starting my hair because it felt as if my scalp was being burnt. I sat through the pain for an hour as she passed through the same pieces of hair at least 6 times with extremely high heat. She also attempted to put some cream in my hair that I asked her not to (but she did anyway) because she said I needed something in my hair. She also used a flat iron. No heat protector was used and at the end I was charged $50. I reminded her that I didn’t get a wash and set, I only came for my hair to be blown out and I was told that my hair is “natural”. To top it off I woke up the next morning with a blistering second degree burn on my left ear. My hair got straightened but overall HORRIBLE experience.
