The technicians will come to your home with all the tools necessary to solve your lice problems. We worked with the LTC twice this year, once in the winter and again in the spring. Thankfully, the second time was a “false alarm”, but even still, Liz(the owner) had her team out to our home in a flash. My children arrived safely home from sleep away camp, however I received an email from the camp that several of their bunkmates had lice on returning home. Went into a panic, went to Lice Treatment Center’s new treatment center in Darien (behind The Complete Angler in Darien, 547 Post Road, Darien) for a lice check for our entire family. Their technician was thorough, friendly and highly informed about treating lice. We left ecstatic that we did not have lice but knowing that LTC is the go to place whenever we have lice concerns or problems. They make your lice problem, their problem. Please be careful when using lice treatment center to diagnose a lice infestation. They are very good at removing nits and bugs in the case of an actual lice infestation. We have used this service for that in the past and they did a great job. We recently asked them to check to see if anyone in our family had lice. That, however, was a different experience. Ultimately, we were treated for lice and did not have it. When we brought it to the attention of the owners, we were met with hostility. Of course mistakes happen and that does not mean there is intentional wrong doing, but this is a great reminder that services like this are incentivized to treat for lice, whether you have it or not.
