As a licensed cosmetologist with over a decade of hair experience under her belt, Shatarah is well versed in natural hair and hair extensions. Her versatile portfolio includes hairstyles for every hair type. Shatarah specializes in natural hair and uses professional haircare products to ensure her clients maintain healthy hair no matter their hair preferences. When Shatarah’s not at Lavish Hair Studio, you can find her teaching. She’s a hair instructor with plans to open her own hair instructional school. Shatarah also enjoys exercising and is an exercise trainer for a fitness studio.

I came in as a walk-in for a simple dry cut. She was very knowledgeable and experienced on what she knew on hair. I never went to someone who actually gave me information and tips to properly take care of my hair at home and what I needed to stop doing altogether. I asked her for a list of products I needed to make my hair better and she written them down for me. I am veryyyy pleased with my haircut and the professional products that I bought also. She is definitely going to be my main hairstylist for my natural hair. Top tier!!!

Not only did she offer the best products for my hair, she asked what products I was currently using. Okay guys, I haven’t taken a picture of my hair yet. But, you will ABSOLUTELY love Shatarrah!! Most time spent on my hair was going over the details, the stray hairs and tags. An absolute perfectionist who makes sure not one hair is out of place!! This was my first time coming to Lavish Studio, and I will be a CONTINUOUS returning client. I haven’t been to a salon in over a decade, I am new to the area and I decided to try something new. And let’s just say, no regrets! I got the best hair wash of a lifetime full of healthy hair products!! My hair was cared for, and trimmed. I am now on my path to healthy hair and I can’t wait to see the growth!! Will keep you guys updated! I will have to come back and update my post with photos of my sew in, but this was definitely a great experience for a low price!
