The receptionists and the nurses here are super friendly! However, I had a total of 11 laser hair removal treatments and everything was going great until around the 10th treatment when suddenly my legs developed red bumps all over them. I thought maybe it was razor bumps so I stopped shaving, but when that didn’t do anything I went to go see a dermatologist who had me try a steroid cream and then antibiotics to no avail. He then biopsied my skin and told me it is keratosis pilaris. He said it is extremely rare for KP to suddenly develop out of nowhere as it did in my case, since you usually have it your whole life. He agreed it is likely that the laser treatments could have changed the texture of my skin and “revealed” the KP that was dormant before. I got laser hair removal so I could show off my legs all the time without having to worry about shaving but now I have to cover up to hide the red bumps that look like pimples all over my legs. I did not pay $$$$ to end up with bumps all over my skin!
