This location has been in continous operation as a Barber Shop since we believe late 1920s making it one of oldest in historic downtown Lawrence. Larry Sr. bought it in April 1994 from the previous owner who was here since 1967. Larry Jr. LJ is the current owner since 2015 when his father handed it over to him. Larry Sr. started his Barbering career in 1970 LJ in 1991. So if you’re looking for a great place for a great haircut call us for an appointment thank you.

My partner went to get a haircut at Larry’s this morning and Larry Jr. did a fantastic job. He cut the hair exactly as asked and made clean straight lines so my partner is looking rather handsome lol! The shop is in a great location, it wasn’t crowded (they did by appointment to avoid clogged waiting areas), and both Larrys were incredibly kind and friendly.
