Maria is by far one of the best massage therapists I have witnessed. I came in experiencing a lot of tightness and upper back pain. She is extremely knowledgeable and was able to offer an authentic deep tissue massage and cupping to release the knots. I feel 10xs better and will be continuing on a bimonthly basis. Millie does great facials. Maria is great for body scrubs and massages. The salon is downstairs and the spa rooms are upstairs. This is a small but cozy space to get your spa services done. I have had several facials and scrubs and the service is consistent. This is at the top of my “go to” spa list.

There are times where I already feel great before seeing her but she always manages to find something to work on with me. If you are looking for an esthetician, I found one for you. Her name is Milly at La Maison. I’ve had many facials and she is by far the best I’ve found yet. Now if you want some soft feeling hands that knows how to decompress your tension, you MUST go to Maria at La Maison. I’ve had her as a massage therapist for many years and well I have never left. Last week I got a couples massage with my boyfriend and it was amazing. I came in with a lot of shoulder and back pain and by the time I left I seriously felt like a new person. The staff is so friendly and helpful I felt very comfortable and relaxed. My boyfriend and I were both very happy with our massages and are planning on coming back again. The esthetician Millie is also amazing if you’re looking to get a facial or micro! I hear they do spa parties too so if you want to get a group of friends together to relax with a Spa day this is the perfect place! Highly recommend to anyone!

I have been getting massages for over 15 years and I can honestly say that Maria is the best therapist I have ever come across. In my opinion calling Maria a healer would be more accurate than calling her a therapist. I have had multiple issues that she has helped me work through. Maria takes the time to understand your specific issues, works on those areas with a combination of massage, stretching and movement, and then will help you understand the root cause of your pain so you can take preventive steps to stop the pain for good. If you’re looking for a nice relaxing massage to unwind, focused deep tissue work for pain or anything in between look no further. Maria is amazing!

I decided to buy my wife a gift certificate for a combination Swedish and Hot Stone massage and a body scrub at La Maison Spa in Short Hills for her birthday. She claims that it was the most relaxing experience ever. As Maria, the massage therapist worked on her trigger areas, she found instant relief. This was followed by a body scrub also administered by Maria. She had been apprehensive about scrubs thinking it would irritate her skin on the contrary she found that it left her body “baby soft.” She recommends both services and also Maria, the therapist who is quite knowledgeable in relieving pain.
