The owner is the barber, one who shampoos, customer service and also the one who cleans. She worked by herself and her appointments were back to back- because she operated all by herself. She rushed and I felt rushed. She didn’t listen to how I wanted my cut to come out. I showed her pictures and she barely looked at it. I told her that I had a photo shoot 2 days later and I can’t afford for my hair to get messed up but if she was sure that she didn’t need to take a closer look at the pictures and she knows what she’s doing that I trust her. She ended up cutting so much and my right side looked completely different from my left. When I said that she took too much off my right she attempted to take more from that same side. I had to move away at this point as I didn’t want her to ruin my hair more than she already had. I told her that she’s too fast and she didn’t listen. In the end she said to let my hair grow for a month and I can go back so she can fix it. I wasn’t gonna trust her with my hair again. There’s no way I’m going back to this salon. Worst service and cut I’ve ever gotten. I chose this place because of the reviews about her knowing how to cut Asian hair. I 1000% DO NOT agree. I gave this hole in the wall a chance. Have had three haircuts. She is an excellent barber. Other reviews commenting on her skill in cutting Asian hair are accurate. I’m Japanese / Irish and I had been looking for somebody to cut my hair the way I want it since my old barber retired a year ago. I think her prices are reasonable. Haircut

Me.Kim is a very friend lady. I did a perm and hair cut at very affordable price! She does haircut in a quick and professional way! The incide was clean and organized. I got similar perm with Ms. Jeong in squid game. Strongly recommend this place!

Awesome service! I called about 30 minutes ahead and waited about 15 minutes in the salon. I can tell Kim is experienced and she’s very quick with what she does. I only showed her a picture and my hair turned out exactly how I wanted! If you don’t wanna travel to nyc or Boston to get a haircut in Asian barbershops then definitely try this place. Oh not to mention the price is very good too 🙂
