Initially I had a positive experience. But, the more appointments I tried to schedule, the more it seemed like it wasn’t a good fit. I respect the business itself but I have to search elsewhere for my services. I had a rather negative experience the last visit and am not going to go to deep into that. What I will say is that communication with the stylist seems disconnected and disorganized. I loved the idea of not having to drive 30 – 45 minutes to get my hair done. I also loved the idea of supporting a black business. This one just seems like it’s not a good fit.

Honestly this is one of beautiful salon/beauty supply I ever been in!! Soon as I worked in I could feel the positive vibes & energy. On top of that Ketra has some blessed hands! God has definitely blessed her with a wonderful gift! Very lovely and welcoming environment. Like wow could it get any better than that! I loved my experience and will definitely be back!!

I had an appointment today( April, 16, 2022 the day before Easter) at 9am for bohemian box braids. I scheduled and communicated with them via Facebook/Facebook Messenger. I show up 10mins early and wait till 9:05…the store is completely dark and no one there. I message them and get a response 10 mins later saying I didn’ respond to a reminder that was sent 24 hours before hand, that they cancelled my appointment because they assumed I no longer needed it. I take a second to go back through all conversation between the salon and NO WHERE was such a message sent! I also went through both their Facebook page and website, no where does it state such a policy. I am disappointed and completely disgusting with how the situation was handled, very unprofessional.
