This is the place to go to in KC. Very clean, modern beds with current tech. Strong bulbs and very friendly atmosphere. I travel 90% of the year for work so I always look for the best spots for food, goods, and services in each city I’m in. Prices are fair and the staff will help you get the most for your money, depending on your situation or needs. I don’t tan quickly, I get red and it’s takes a while to get dark for me. Two weeks and I had a great tan going. I used the top tier beds and they are well worth the weekly price I paid. Shelby was more than willing to work with my budget and time frame. Memberships are also available but for my travel schedule the weekly option was perfect. Whenever I’m in town this is where I will spend my money. All of the luxury you would expect from a national chain but with a private ownership feel. The customer service here is top notch and Shelby always made sure I got the best deal possible. I just moved to the Overland Park/KC area and was looking for a place to tan. I viewed a few different salons online and decided to try out KC Tan first. BUT I quickly realized it would also be the last salon I tried out. I absolutely loved my experience. Emily is incredible. Knowledgeable and intentional with her time and suggestions on which bed(s) to try, lotions to use, and time to start with. 5 stars doesn’t seem like nearly enough of a review because the salon and experience is just that great. The salon is clean and inviting, with a variety of beds for everyone depending on skin type, tanning experience/exposure, and comfortability with tanning in general!
