Kevin who is working here boating to be a boss, but when entering the shop, he is actually doing nail and work likes a worker with nobody working under him. I felt so bad that he wanted himself to look good in front of my wife. Unfortunately, the reputation speaks for itself, therefore a man working on a nail shop to earn a living could not comparing to a man that got a 4 year degree and have many men working under him. Moreovers, the working enviroment is total different. The smell from the chemical and smeeling feet bult up in the nail shop was horrible that I even could not handle it for a minute when stop by. I considered Kevin as a boasting man, a liar, and betraying his family, his wife and son when he was trying to firt with my wife.

Walked in just after 3:30 on a Saturday and was told they wouldn’t have time to do my nails before they closed at 7. There were only 3 people in there! But the least they could have done was be nice about it. They were rude about it… like I was stupid for even trying to do a walk in. Don’t waste your time trying to give these guys your money… I guess they don’t need it

My first time here. I’ve visited a variety of nail salons in Manhattan and always came away slightly displeased…..either the facility was dirty, the staff unfriendly, or my nails not done neatly. I am extremely impressed with KC Nails, especially Michelle. The salon is clean. Michelle is very friendly and we chatted the entire time…..she engages the customer (some salons, the workers only talk to each other in their own language)….She did a fabulous job on my pedicure and clear gel manicure. Even applied lotion to my feet and hands herself….which has never happened in Manhattan. They are open 9-7pm. CASH ONLY!!!

While in JC on a quick weekend trip I desperately needed my nails done. I walked in without an appointment (which didn’t appear to be the norm here) and was promptly helped. Service was quick and results were great. My nails are shaped perfectly and I love the color. I will come here again when I’m in town. Thanks so much for the great service!

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueBeing a male, I don’t exactly know what I’m asking for for my girlfriend, but I wanted to surprise her with a reservation to get her nails done, (pedicure, and manicure) and the owner hung up on me three times, and on the fourth time of me calling back, he was very rude until I snapped at him and got the answers to my questions that I was looking for; and I understand snapping probably wasn’t the best idea when trying to make a reservation, but after being hung up on three times, personally I see this business being very unprofessional, which only deepens my concern about the service. I would’ve loved to make a reservation, but he then proceeded to tell me how he was, “booked all week”. I’ve had acrylic, gel and even dips over the years and always looks wonderful. Love the massage chair when I get a pedicure. Highly recommend. Critical: QualityMy friend I went in about a few weeks ago to get acrylics done and they did a decent job. Then my friend and I went back in yesterday and we wanted the just taken off. My friend went first and they just started prying them off her mail without soaking them or anything. They used another fake nail to pry them off. She stopped him and showed me and she said it was hurting her really bad. They tried to charge us $15 each just to do that. It caused a lot of damage to her nail.
