I had an appointment at 12pm. The nail technician was 40 mins late so a 18 yo girl had to do my pedicure (not bad) but then my manicure was one of the worst ever. I decided to give them a chance because they are local but I regret it. You judge yourself by the pictures. When I left I was very discreet when I told the front desk person that I was dissatisfied with service while the owner Karla just sat there and watched. She didn’t apologized or even approached me. By the way, I PAID IN ADVANCE TO BOOK THE APPOINTMENT FOR THIS SERVICE.

I gave KB Glam Studio a try two months ago after two recommendations from close friends. For context, I am very picky when it comes to services for nails, hair and anything going on my body. Karla, the owner, has been very welcoming and her work speaks for itself. My latest set has lasted me a little over a month and still looks great, my schedule has been a little difficult but her work hasn’t lifted and still looks amazing and still gets me compliments. I got a gel pedicure from another tech today, Kat, and loved it. She was diligent and her attention to detail was amazing. They are my go-to, love these ladies.

I did not like what I got. From the start, I did not feel confident in them, but I am someone who at least tries with working it out with my nail techs. It was a mistake for this visit. I had to end up improvising with the design because it seemed like nothing of what I asked for could be done. I should have instead asked for my nails to be removed because the designs on the nails cannot be seen other than on one finger. I don’t feel as if it is fair to charge me $75 for something that was not what I wanted. I even specifically told them one shape of my nails, but got another. It is at the END of the appointment that I was told that if I needed a more intricate design, I would have paid more by the hour. At least the place is clean and I didn’t come out with botched nails. But I am positive I will never return. If you have a specific design, expect to either pay more to somewhat get it close, or not get the design you want at all.

Critical: Professionalism, QualityI had my two stepdaughters go into this Salon today and it was horrible. One of the techs was FaceTiming with her boyfriend the entire time so it was not peaceful at all and of course she wasn’t focused. Both girls have cuts on their fingers from the manicure and while there another lady started mopping the floor with very strong pinesol. Not going back here…and I purposely asked them the day before if they could make sure to treat the girls nicely.
